    I stumbled upon your work an I have to say you have improved a lot and are now really a pro photographer. Your honesty and humbleness is very refreshing.

      @@MattOsborne-MrLeicaCom anytime, what I would suggest is have one roll of film to make an experiment with, try out some different dev. times explore colour neg. film. What I mean is have one that doesn't matter if it's correct or not.
      By exploring and writing down all exposure details and developing times you have some special book where you write these experiments down, it then turns into alchemy!
      Take care and cheers.

    It's always good to see you work and now interesting to see you. I may be wrong but you seem to have real integrity which is a too rare virtue. I will not be doing model shooting but your work and thoughts spill over into general photography which is why you are as meaningful as you are. Thanks for the vid and good luck in all.

    Hey Matt, it's the first time I've seen this video & I must say your very brave. There's no way I could get my head around portrait photography let alone Glamour photography, I just couldn't do it. So well done to you, most of what I've seen of your Glam stuff is lush...... 👍

      Thanks Nigel, it was a near vertical learning curve as I couldn't even hold eye contact with a female before. It's photography that pulled me through, the drive to make photos. I have a lot to thank photography for. (If you're in the UK and would like to attend a model workshop sometime I would be happy to introduce you to it..not as scary as we would think).

    Matt--Here's a brief idea: If you came through my elected home town (Istanbul) and did an all day shoot, how would you feel about splicing in a one hour tutorial on model and/or portrait photography? Participants would come from a local photo group and would pay for your expert instruction. Most would be digital shooters, but no one is perfect...

    • @MattOsborne-MrLeicaCom
      @MattOsborne-MrLeicaCom  2 года назад

      Hi Jeremy, I'd love that. Happy to teach for a full day as part of a multi day trip if the interest is there. The light and colours look fantastic there and I know many models sent there over the years to work. Happy to teach any level, film or digital. Would you like to send me an email sometime, perhaps once we can fly easier, actually Instagram might be easier for you - @MrLeicaCom Thanks for reaching out.

    I lived in UK for 8 years. Brits hate having their pictures taken. If you manage to find attractive females they most likely will succumb into paranoia when offered photo shoot and keep ignoring you or block you on-line. Now I'm in Guernsey and it's the same. I totally get why you like Eastern Europe. I can't wait to go back home where people are more approachable, reliable and know what commitment means.
    You should check out this FP, Matt - facebook.com/Michauowice
