I am done with build the super clodbuster. It’s fun. Now you build it! You are having a fun. Tamiya is champion!

I have an M02L Tamiya 1/10 Beetle that's somewhat similar and shares some parts with yours. I like the bathtub chassis yours has better and REALLY dig the fuchs.
I have built this lt and it was a lot of fun, Love Tamiya kits as I have another one that's coming prob next week a Black RSR Porsche

For about 4 minutes I thought you were putting this kit together with sun tan lotion!! Then it dawned on me. Excellent wheel choice also.
Paint the lexan! You can do eeeet! :-D Why not rough up the outside and paint it on the outside? That way you can fill in those pesky post holes. I've done it before and roughed up properly it's not much unlike doing a hard shell. Make sure you primer it good. Liking the wheels. Looks like the real deal. Slammed VW's look sweet on some Porche alloys!
I have those same needle nose pliers and their perfect being narrow and skinny and some what sharp

A 3d printer would be a great addition, you could print a longer mind piece to make the truck body work

I dont think I did. its been a while since I built this.
Cant you use some aluminum channel to lenghten it to fit the truck body. That would look badass as lowered drifter

The chassis was maybe a couple hours. It was not as easy as other tamiya kits I have build before.

The front camber issue may be because you didn’t cut the end of the ball joint down. It’s very easy to miss in the directions. Don’t ask me how I know.

I experienced this myself. Just a tiny text line with “cut 2mm”.
How many phillips head screws did you strip making that model?
Maybe 2
@@RCeveryday I had the misfortune of assembling the short version when I should have been building the long. I'd finished the step, turn the page and see instructions for medium and long! Then trying to remove the screws from the bottom plate I completely stripped and had to drill out one screw. But with a little PVC glue I got the right piece on. I just think the kit would be much more enjoyable with hex head screws.
@@robertblack7352 oh man, that sucks. I totally agree tamiya needs to get with the times and have hex head scews with all their kits.

They are discontinued HPI cup racer wheels
How did you lower the chassis ?
Shortened the shocks, also installed adjustable upper links to add camber

Criptic Custom RC try a lunch box or Midnight Pumpkin
I’ve looked into the lunchbox body. It can be done but is still a little too narrow for my liking. I know the pumpkin body can work though.
Can't you spray the outside of the beetle body with PS paint (even clear) made for lexan, then paint over top that first of PS coat with TS paint(s) and finish just like all of your hardbody creations?
RC Everyday pumpkin body would be bad azz with a rat rod look to it wheels on the car would go perfect
paint the bug body.
