    The most difficult part of getting over physiological issues is the mental stress that you experience during the slow progression of trying to get over them. It requires so much faith when your whole body feels so stiff. You have a great energy to help people get out of their heads about this stuff. I’d love if you made videos about the mental part of overcoming physical stresses/limitations.

      Yes you are so right! You never want to feel that way again once you have been hurt and it does change your actions for a long time! Main thing I like to say is that even on the outside if you have a cut it scars and heals there may be a mark left but it doesn’t really cause any issue, inside is just the same! Your body will adapt as it needs to! I have touched on the mental side a bit in my blog but will maybe revisit it again! Always feel funny about that just 😄

    All the information you put out is life-changing stuff. You're the only one that is doing this system you teach, Great content Tom. I am going to try this as my back has always been a problem since I left school 28 years ago.

      Thanks so much! Yes it is just an accumulation of all different sources and my own experiences and training others also, there are loose patterns and when you combine enough of them you 9/10 times get lucky in “fixing” a lot of issues, bodies are weird and wonderful things! 😄

      Hey Paul my core Tom taught this real simple back hack standing straight moving your hit forward and typing your butt cheeks to the front of your stomach it literally pulls your muscles forward while strengthening your core it's a funny video if you can find it he also states that when you walk or run you need to engage these muscles at the same time that's what makes the difference it's not just the one exercise it's keeping your hips pushed forward and that's the way to stabilize your back after the first few days I was amazed now I'm doing this week's later my back does not hurt me at all

    I saw some of these videos for the first time about 6months ago while researching hip mobility and pain - what a life changer. Tom (and Jenni)s videos are instructive, well made and very very importantly work. I bought Simple Mobility Method and am now just about to start End Range Motion. 6 months ago I was not been able to squat on my haunches due to hip and knee pain and as for kneeing on both knees or sitting on my heels for more than 5sec forget it - now though what a reversal. Tom & Jenni keep up the great work.

    Any chance of a vid on correcting lateral and anterior pelvic tilt? This is causing me hip impingment in both legs. Good video by the way👍

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  5 лет назад +1

      nevergymless lee here is our anterior pelvic tilt one! If you’re getting a nip in both hips rotation would also be an important thing to work on! The Simplistic Mobility Method addresses all of those simultaneously so would be your fastest way to address everything in one go!

    im a 50 yr old construction worker who typically gets severe backpain especially in the 1st month after extended layoffs/downtime.
    i workout regularily when not on construction projects but can barely get thru a days work w/o constant use of ibuprofen or tylenol and on last job had to get prescription muscle relaxants
    which helped immensely.
    before them i spent 2 weeks in torute barely able to take off my boots at end of day.
    i need a comprehensive solution for my backpain.

    Hi Tom. Thank you so much for putting this video out there. Please can you help? I have Facet joint disease and some scoliosis and cracked discs that impinge on nerves if I am not super aware of my movements. If I do cause myself to have a flare up the recovery time is weeks or months during which I’m very limited with movement. Lateral side bends and twists as well as back flexion cause discomfort and I have to be very careful with these movements. Is there anything you would recommend or modified moves/exercises for people in my position? Thank you 🙏

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  4 года назад

      Hi Jayne! Normally for scoliosis I would say it is better to have in person training to help guide your movements as you do them. One of the things you would need to find is easy enough progressions that you can spend time in, so the likes of hanging but still with your feet on the floor but also building strength the right way too! This would be one idea ruclips.net/video/hS3lHMYaTZ4/видео.html

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  5 лет назад +2

      Rob Laity honestly exercises like this you would want to build up to wanting to be able to do them every day as you find them so easy! But takes time to get there! Try every other day at first!

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  8 месяцев назад

      It will feel uncomfortable to do during a flare up but if you have recurring back pain you actually need to get the muscles feeling like they’re doing something to overcome it, it’s something you get better at with practice, total rest is never a good idea unless it’s your first ever time experiencing it

      Hi Gemma! It is my assessment program and what I have been using for years helping people movement restrictions and pain, it’s the best thing to go through first, I do offer one to one training also but I would still take you through SMM first anyways so if you just get it and do it right you’ll most likely not need to do the one to one or have to rely on anyone else again! 😄
