I'm rocking a hellcat-style setup for my bugout bag. one pointer: - drill the rivets out and use screws with locking nuts It's crazy, this setup used to be an ingenious way of using cheap surplus. now with a DEI 1606 frame its almost as expensive as some midgrade rucks! weird what a decade does!
Check out the Eureka Molding PALICE frame sold by Raptor Tactical. It's very light and strong, while having some flex under load. I paired one with Tactical Tailor super straps and a Spec Ops ruck. Most comfortable thing I've ever used.
As well as giving you praise for suggesting such a useful modification that brings our ALICE packs up to date, I also would like to applaud your manual dexterity while having one hand employed with your camera. Great video, useful information, well done!

Unfortunately nowadays everything seems to be getting more expensive, but occasionally you can still find some good deals if you look around and wait

Nice! I've never seen that one before, have you considered making a video of your setup?

Nice setup and great job dyeing the UCP green!
Thank you!
