On the one hand I really like these videos but on the other hand I get devastated whenever I learn about a new trophy item that looks awfully similar to something I've charsi'd in the past. Thanks for making these vids for us!

So true, I know I've thrown out some expensive items. I do however have a super gg caster ring I found in the first week of d2r release, it's not ladder but it's still absolutely insane, never found a ring this good before
@@wisconsincrhunter5614 Closest I've came to a trophy item was me finding a 2/2/49 dweb on my necro on week 2 of release.
@@sm00419 dweb is the only item I've never found in diablo 2. I cant tell you how many rare unearthed wands I've found just teasing the shit outta me. I've found some ridiculous circlets and tiaras and diadems. 2/20/30 with all res life strength sockets, etc. Some really sick stuff, I've got most of it still too. At least the ones I havent sold yet anyway
We always delude ourselves assuming we left GG on the ground over the years playing or made something Charsi food without knowing what it was but in our heart of hearts, deep down, we all know the RNG gods are never that gracious.
Love to see these, I've grown to be so much more knowledgable about what to ID and keep in my stash than I was ever before. Keep 'em coming Cooloey
Also with terror zones expect alot of "new" stuff to be apearing on the radar like +min+max dmg small charms.

It’s so cool knowing that such rare one of a kind items are still popping up 20+ years later. The ability to find literal treasure in a video game has always been such an appealing aspect about D2.
Very much how D4 is playing. Absolute one-of-a-kind items in legendaries/aiming for the best Unique rolls otherwise. Would love to see a buff to normal/magic bases to bring them on par with D2 and hoping to see runewords in the future as it would take D4 to the next level.

Nice video! One thing i'd say is most of us top tier GM Zealots on the JSP GM Zealot PVP Tourneys have nicer Visio's than the one mentioned at 5:25 in the video. Can get the guys to share some photos if you'd like!

Hey Cooley -- I'm wondering about the adds dmg modifier. What if it's adds [element] dmg? I have a lvl 28 jewel that rolled adds 6-23 fire damage along with energy, life and poison res. Still learning about the LLD community - where can we learn more?
The teleport Goldfind amu is really sick 😮wow!!! & as a LLD fan, i can tell that the 8-17-6dex is really impressive (i have a 11min/18max lvl30 which is quite close to that one). nice stuff coooley !

see these videos are so nice because I 100% would've used that viper gyre LLD jewel to craft a random caster amulet that would then roll +2 to curses, which I'd then throw on the ground
glad for them ! i havent dropped anything at all this season by chance i had fg to stuff my character otherwise i'd still be rocking a charsi armor and crappy items
Same. Found a couple Ohm Runes (and millions of Sunder Charms, ofc), but that's about it lol

Hey Cooley ... you are good at pricing things so i was just curious where i can post my ammy so ppl could price it .... its lvl 30 req / 2 to fire skills/ 10fcr / 37 life / 28 mana / 2 magic dmg reduction.
Found my trophy circ the other day. 2 Amazon skill, 20 frw, 7 life leech, 8 mana leech, all resists 14, and plus 6 max dmg. I put a 15ias 15max dmg jewel in it

I almost had a panic attack when you showed that ring ... I seriously thought it was maybe the ring I crafted (it's not). But yea, I sold a similar blood ring for dirt cheap early D2R, it was 110+ ar, 50+ life and 20+ str, but the last stat wasn't good, I think it was low mana instead of near perf dext. I think it even had the same 1% LL. Got a Ohm for it, not sure how screwed or not I got. Hard to judge trades after 15 years without playing, and anyway I was happy with my Ohm # happyforeverpoor.

Hey not sure what a rare ring I have is worth, It has 10 FCR, like 110ish Attack rating, 30 Light res, 30ish Cold rest, then another stat that I dont remember, seems quite good im using it not sure if its worth something or not. Also found a decent rare jewl im not sure of 30 ED, 10 Min, then fire and light dmg.

How do those "Adds damage" jewels work with those skills that only benefit from +min/max damage? Does the game recognize that it is actually +min/max, or does it work Grief style?
Game sees it as min/max damage. So ED can still "break" them in the right circumstance. "Adds" is different than "Damage +"

Jewel value might be one of the most difficult things for the majority of D2 players. I know it’s pretty mysterious to me anyways
Much like melee items, if you find a GG jewel... You'll probably be waiting a while for the right buyer to come along.

i found a 5os 263% ED Rune Master Ettin Axe that i just gave away to some bard who was dual wielding. i have never really cared about the worth of items since i don't trade and mainly solo MF. So i was curious to know how much it actually could have been worth if i cared about it.
i remember Rune Master being BIG before Runewords came along so the value of it probably has gone down a lot. but it still seemed like a GG roll.
I found my first griffon's yesterday because I decided to attempt terrorized trav.
First run. I just logged off after - no need to ruin the average of my hour.
I know some people including myself would consider that their best find ever (-20/14) but I await the day where I roll a truly one of a kind rare.
found a rare item almost perfect in every way eth fools rep 2 sockets but sadly only 50 ed. i pick up pretty much everything after seeing a few rares sell for insane amounts on LOD

There's better on melee rings on lod such as bone band and eagle coil but that's a nice one for d2r
I found the 3/3/2 war scepter. I sold it on traderie for 18 bers. Which was about 4000 FG at the time.

Can roll up to 3 on the craft and up to 11% if it rolls with LL as an added mod. But most people don't care about LL in PvP (which is why items are worth so much in the first place)

In which case this ring is far from a great roll, as it could have had another mod in place of the LL entirely.

Best things i found so far were a pair of trires boots and a trires ring, not "OMFG, these are 50kfg each!!! Jeeeez i can gear charas for the next 10 ladders on day1!!!" but theyre cool. Also a 5 to frozen orb orb with not much else, and a 5nado pelt with not much else.
Runes? An Ohm and a Cham.
Anyone with a creditard can also gear their their characters on day one 🤷♂️
Wait i'm really out of the loop I guess. What do people do with gold find? I mean obviously yes find gold but what is the purpose of said gold that makes going to such lengths worthwhile?

Sad things over the years and countless of hours of Diablo 2 is I sold few very rare jewels like these because I was't sure about their true values (eg.: this 8-17 damage jewel.. I thought 17 extra damage is nothing in this game)... Now I would be a rich FG guy.
Is there any page where I could check these things? Because I never sure which items worth anything.
Keep in mind those are worth something because of their level requirement and usefulness in low level dueling
