How would you feel about making a guide on evaluation rare throwing weapons? I've started picking them up after watching this, hoping to strike gold. But even if I were to only strike silver, I wouldn't even know what that looked like.

Question about the non-rep eth throwing javs:
I know of recent changes to D2R in regards to getting a crit and replenishing the quantity, but does it mean that eventually it will go to zero? Like sometimes you would get bad luck and not get any crits and it would just get less and less, right?
That would be near impossible with just gores and hl on...isnt that like 40+% crit?
@@warmist8197 what I mean is, since it replenishes once with each crit, wouldn’t it mean that there will be times when it DOESN’T replenish?
@@CrownVic977 yes but if you look at the throw mastery talent now. There is a mod that allows to not consume a quanity, whille crit gives you a quanity plus it has a chance to pierce too meaning if it crits you can get more than 1 back.
@@CrownVic977 you eventually lose quantity if you rely solely on Throw mastery. At least theoretically you should. But having just one item with deadly strike in gear will mean infinite quantity. Highlord, Gorerider, Guiliame face, Peace runeword

Before watching these vids idk how many times I threw out stuff that was actually worth keeping because I myself had no use for it. Could have been rich back in the day if I had actually known. Now in d2r season 2 I will defiantly be watching for this stuff.

I was offering 1jah + 2ber (even stated negotiable) for +5all res +7%magic find small charms.
I had an ad on traderie, D2R Subreddit, and constantly had games open in the lobby named "n 5res7mf SCs" with my offer in the description.
In 7 days, I only managed to buy two of them. I'm not sure if my offer was too low or if they are just so rare that the few people that have them would much rather keep them than trade them for a few high runes.
I'm assuming the two people that sold me theirs were relatively low on wealth and a Jah rune + 2 Ber runes just meant more to their character than the small charm.
I can't even imagine how long it would take to obtain full inventories of perfect charms like that. I don't even want to imagine how much he had to fork out to get people to sell them to him.
I actually love this aspect of the game - I love that things are so rare that even with hundreds of thousands of monster kills, your chances of getting a best-possible max-rolled GG item are still unreasonably low! IMO, that's what has kept this game alive for over 20 years.
One day, when I'm a grey bearded grumpy old man, I'll have the eight 5res7mf small charms I need. It will be a life well wasted.

Got a jewel with 7%FHR, 26% DMG, 9 strength and 13% fire res (the only jewel like it had 30% fire res and sold for 3 Ber)

That is legit. Fax is LOADED in LLD. Although I don't know if duping exists, those charms are certainly not dupes of the same charm, as they would "poof" if any of them were.

It's not a pay wall. Those aren't required and often a nice edc will do you 80-85% of the dmg that rare zerker will do

I wonder what the most expensive classic D2 item was worth. I remember there being a scepter called Vbludgeon that was worth like 40 duped Sojs back in the day. Wish someone made a video on the huge duped rare market. It was the reason many stayed in classic D2
There were xpac items in 1.09 on classic bnet. I had a windforce and a gaze, an act 5 shield, a grandfather, a shako, valor, and a few others.

I was wondering when you gonna show us a GG double throw weapons. The eth unique ones don't even hold a candle to what these can roll up to. They are throwig Griefs. I play single and I check literally every single rare thrown weapon that drops in the hopes that I can create a GG throwbarb someday.

- poison duration = poison res? You said that one pair was a quad res boot, but only had 3 res + poison duration.
Poison duration acts like a poison res. By reducing the duration you’re reducing the damage. Like if something did 100 poison damage over 4 seconds to you and you had 25% poison length duration reduced it would instead do 75 poison damage over 3 seconds.
