Samantha is my very favorite! I got my original one for my 9th birthday in 1990- she's got the lighter brown hair but the tan body. I feel as if Samantha has had the most variations over the years. No two seem exactly alike! I have 5 of her now, each unique.
Samantha was my dream doll. I had the books and used to pour over the catalogs in the late 80’s. Unfortunately I never got one as a child. It was my husband who actually found an early 90’s PC Samantha and surprised me one Christmas a few years ago. I love her. Now my two daughters have a PC Kirsten and Felicity. I’m starting to collect all three dolls outfits. I think my new dream is getting a beautiful white body Samantha. The look of this doll is what I remember pining after in the catalog as a kid. Someday…
@@rainbowunicorncat1 yup, until Felicity came out and her 1770s style dresses made it necessary that the upper torso area be the same color as the face. :)
I was looking for an early Samantha with lighter brown hair in a good condition with good price. I do hve the latest Samantha but I feel in love with lighter hair of her. Still looking tho!
