4:48 The weights are from SmallRig, not iRig. For a pocket camera, cell phone or GoPro, 200gr is enough to stabilize the rover. Less jitter, yet not "jitterless".
2 questions, would this sit and work on a regular slider like the Yelangu, which has open sections on the bottom, also is the distance adjustable between the side with 2 wheels and 1? Thanks
Great tip on adding weight to the smartphone to smooth it it. I just got this and my iPhone X seems really jittery unless I mount my gimbal to the dolly but I'm going to try adding mass.
Hey! Does it have an option to move from point A to B and reverse the movement automatically ? like a back and forward movement, to fill yourself without having to be always clicking the remote control?
Great video. A challenge is to convert this to a more rugged carrier by equipping it with larger wheels to go over uneven surfaces to take utilitarian video rather than just high quality professional video.
Great video man! I like the ethos of just using your phone! obsessed with the best kit and forget I've got a great camera in my pocket. Just subscribed!
Hi, I have a weird question but still going to ask, what's the difference between the Neewer 3-Wheels and the Neewer 3-Wheel Motorize Auto Dolley? You're video is very helpful and the demonstration is fantastic!
@@PeterAlanJohnson Thanks for bother in answer, this Ricky guy doesn't have too many views/followers and yet found tedious to answer a simple question.
I’m looking for one one of these that will automatically go forwards and backwards without having to keep pressing the remote control each time. Has anyone found one of these anywhere?
Question... can you use stabilization in post to smooth out any bumps that might happen on a slightly un-smooth surface? Davinci Resolve has a pretty good stabilization feature (with a little cropping). Any idea if that would help?
Is there a rail system thats sold or could be made to put it on top so it goes straight..because the one i have it viers off to the left and i have the tires set for straight..
Other than shooting close ups of food or products, what else could this be used to shoot. Cause it doesn’t seem like you can take this out in nature and use it.

Great advice ‘add 200g weights..’ to iron out jitters 👍🏾

Great tips. Thanks for sorting out the issue before hand. Legend.
Yo!!! Man I think your channel is dope. You shows the great unexploited potential of smartphones for photography and filmmaking keep going men
Cheers dude really appreciate it I’ll keep trying promise 😁
I usually mount my gimbal on it to avoid those micro jitters but nice tip on the removable counterweight
Good tip as well dude will try the gimbal option as well 👍🏻
I see you listed the OSMO 3 gimble as a product you have.
If you attach the two together does it fall over?
Great idea with the weights!
Thanks 🙏
can you put a tall tripod on there?

Great video! Question... do you still need the added weights when using an iPhone 12 Pro Max???
Seems like he doesn’t answer questions
great review Ricky... just subbed and love your channel
Nice device! I misplaced my remote, there does not seem to be a way to replace it and the iPhone app does not work.
thanks for the shake tip

Nope, just the remote

Ricky do you know the dimensions of the spare rubber wheel please ?\thanks
It's a shame there can't be some sort of shock mount on this to avoid the bumps - other than that it seems great

Ricky can please tell me where I can buy 200g weights that go on top of Neewer 3 Dolly pleas

please ?
Thanks ricky. How does one get the extra weight you mentioned though? whats it called?
Smallrig 200g
I just turned off Peter McKinnon to watch this! Been looking for a decent budget dolly. 🙌
dont you think that 60-70$ for this small thing is little over priced ?
@@akashsaini100 i've not found anything cheaper that has the same features. Let me know if you have.
@@ShyEnkai yes prie still less than others...... but we can make one diy dolly for cheaper price .. whats your view about this
Question: If I have it on the floor going straight, when it reaches the wall, will it change direction?
No, you need to push the reverse button on the remote

Can you put a Sony A6600 on it? (Might be a stupid question but I’m new to this world) 🤔
Yes up to 3kg
Good review. Great tip on using weight to help with the jitters :-)

You can try removing the rubber tires. It worked for me. Other than that adding stabilization in post is good enough for me
WOOW
Thank you

on my rail this turned out to be that I didnt have the angle set perfectly straight- once you do, tighten up the hex screw to lock it solid
Can it handle the OM5 as added weight?
Should do, it claims to support 3Kg (although tipping over can be an issue)
Where can I find the little clamp you are using for the cellphone that mounts to this rig?
From amazon pretty much everything I get is from amazon 😂
Ricky can please tell me where I can but the 200g weights that go on top of Neewer 3 Dolly please
This is where I got them

Curious how loud is it?
Its too loud for dialogue, this is more for beauty and establishing shots.
Great review buddy. 🙌
Cheers dude 👍🏻

You can take a slider rail and use it on that (or make your own- mine cost me £12 and a piece of scrap wood)
✌
i got this and i need to get a ball head mount ...
Watch out for that price! I've seen this thing go for ~ 20 EUR/£.
Currently around £55 from a few sources, which is a fair price for it.
