Nice review Wayne, and some great shots there. I have used the Neewer version of this and also experienced what you describe as micro-jitters. I have found that the cause of much of this is not switching off image stabilisation in the lens or the camera. See if this makes a difference for you - I'd be interested to know. :)
Yip - the jitter is a noticeable issue - and without post IS, it wouldn't be usable. The slowest speed is the only usable setting...and I can work around these issues. Keeping mine too
Excellent and straightforward review of this dolly, hence the thumbs up. Quick question, how loud is the motor and would the batter handles the fast speed of large cameras? Thanks
Thanks man! It does make a sound and it’s audible, but it’s not loud… it just has small motor. As far as using this for a bigger camera, It probably wouldn’t be a able to handle a Sony a7s + a G-master lens, for example, at a fast speed, it will probably jitter a lot. In my opinion, this is really best to use with a lighter and smaller cam setup.
I just ordered the Neewer version to use with a GoPro for studio setting, self vlogging, set on a table, mostly to use for zoom in and out. I’m not doing close-up work, so hopefully I won’t get any jitters. If I do, I’ll turn on hypersmooth, which is outstanding on the 9.
Quick question if you are going to choose from the two slider which one is it going to be the slider dolly car skate or the motorized auto dolly? it's really hard for me to decided which one should I go for
Honestly, I would try the motorized dolly first. See if you like the results you are getting, if not you can always return it and swap it with the manual one. The thing is they are pretty close in price and the advantage of a motorized dolly is that the speed is consistent. Good luck bro! And thanks for the support! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Peter Jochems I'm thinking it might, since the phone and the gimbal will help with stabilization, but at the same time I can't guarantee it because I can't test it myself.
@Wayne Bonilla add weights .... just watched another video where reviewer did this to counteract jitter. Screwed directly into dolly and camera, bought on amazon
Actually, there is no hole on the other side of the the dolly. Basically, the concept is just to put some sort of counter weight on the other so the weight evens out a bit; otherwise, the dolly will tilt… I believe that’s what you are asking, but feel free to follow up if I misunderstood.🤙🏽

Thanks man! Yep yep, I AB tested it without IS, actually all the test shots you saw were without IS.
The jitter is a no go

Great review
Thanks man!
Dear Wayne Do know the inside diameter and thickness of the spare rubber wheel please ? thanks Brian Pemberton
If I put an Iphone camera on a gimbal on this dolly, would the micro jitters then still be a problem?

@@DaddioTelevision dope! Thanks for letting me know.
cool i wanted to know how that worked, always see the ad
Sweet! Glad you got to see the BTS🤙🏽
Can the tarion move back and forth on its own? Like an auto setting or do you manually have to control the direction it moves?
Nah bro, this dolly does not have an auto-loop feature. That’s what you meant right?
@@waynebonilla yeah, awww thats a bummer thanks for letting me know
Yezzir! No problem man🤙🏽
the upgraded version of this auto dolly support AB driving and stepless speed using App control
sus you got a screw in the lower part to extend the arms forwards so you can put bigger lenses in you setup

@@waynebonilla ruclips.net/video/X7aaVuYp34k/видео.html then it must be different model than this one
@@que_dijo it’s the same. the hole is for the 1/4 20 or 3/8 screw for the camera or a ball head.
