    I came here after seeing one for sale locally for $40. Its so cute and practical for many content makers. Not for me but I'd like to force myself to find a use for it:) It makes me want to use it and do videos of maybe small train set towns...chipmunks in the forest...I guess product reviews which is what its designed for. Im just not sure yet how to make the rails.

    2nd gen maybe has electronic speed/power control, that gives more power when there is more friction or tiny bumps, that is why it was more stable. it adjust the power to maintain speed. great little product, thanx for sharing.

    I have this one now and even made an unboxing video on my channel. I have a not-so-smart question, is there any way that i could modify the device so that it changes to the opposite direction automatically every set time? For example, every 5 secs, it changes to the opposite direction.
    The reason for this is I want to use this for my song covers, since I shoot myself, it would be impossible that i'm holding the sticks of the drums then I change the direction using the remote unless I have an assistant to do it for me. :(

    • @Dulabicstudio
      @Dulabicstudio  4 года назад

      Hi there. It's actually an interesting question. If you can find something that you can program to hit the button on the remote, that would work. I don't think there is any way to program the actual device, at least that's way above my understanding.

    Thanks a lot for review! I am also thinking to buy L4. But as I am planning to use it mainly outdoors I will definitely need a slider. And I have some questions there. First one, you are using a slider from another manufacturer but not Yelangu - why? Are there any shortcomings of sliders from Yelangu? I thought that they (in contrary) should have better compatibility?

    • @Dulabicstudio
      @Dulabicstudio  6 лет назад +1

      Hi There
      No, it was just the one I found. Not sure what the Yelangu ones are like. As long as the rails are a specific distance away, that's the main thing, I think it's 8 cm, I mention it in the video. Having that said, make sure that the slider isn't too flimsy, otherwise the L4 won't be as smooth. Also, your tripod should be pretty sturdy if you intend on mounting the slider onto it.

      Not 100% sure but I would say it should be OK. I've put a lot of accessories on my G85 (external mic and handle) plus the ball head in the video, which has some weight to it, and it was fine. So I would assume if you just put the camera on it with lens it should be OK but again, not 100% sure.
