Sorta kinda semi tryhard, when i play a game i'm always compelled to try and focus on it as a form of respect for other players. Even so I'm not that good at the game outside support or tank but playing this two roles is really fun to me. I don't usually rage unless i get on an unfortunate streak or i see some really stupid decisions, not like noob decisions more like litteraly braindead person decision (like i don't know diving as the only support ying when no one is around... Multiple times... At any given chance... I assure you this hasn't happened to me... Surely not today 🙃).
@@Mannerheimium1000KG It's Barik for me, the Ultimate Quick Play tank. He AFKs on point better than any other tank, which is the only thing that you can do as tank in quick play without people spamming "Capture the objective" at you.
I can't stand players throwing shade at me for not healing them while I am being hunted by 3 flanks. Also close and line of sight? Just play J man aka Jenos, corvus too but he needs to heal so the other marked target would heal as well.
I love when flanks bitch at you for not healing them. Either you're doing your job as a flank and you're behind enemy lines or you're a piece of shit contributing nothing, but either way you need to shut the fuck up.
Had an arrogant, toxic, raging, noob Inara run cripple as point tank into a Furia once. Spoiler alert: The cripple amounted to jack all and the Inara, who didn't even pick up Resil, ate 90% of those stuns. Anyway, she's raging all game, bad-mouthing the entire team, while she sat in a Willow Dead Zone, complaining about not getting healed. She ends up throwing on last cap and camps in spawn, all the while talking trash. At the after game chat, she's trash talking our Octavia--which, to be fair, was bad, but as well as a newer player--and when I come to the Octavia's aid, her wrath turns to me. Apparently, I was told I was a worthless Pip player and that going 1 and 5 with 35k damage as a "Damage Pip" was pathetic. Btw, I was running Combat Medic, put out 120k heals in like a 11 minute game into a Willow--vastly out-healing the opposing Furia, and even managed to keep the toxic player to only 5 deaths despite it all. But apparently it was somehow my fault we lost.
I've had two games in a row with a toxic Jenos player; one against him and one on a team with him. I won both because his first team was bad and our second team was decent. Dude kept nagging his teammates in both situations. I don't give a fuck if the player is good or not (which the Jenos was), being toxic just ruins the vibe of the match. This was casuals btw.
@@sneakyy7807 Oh trust me, I main Pip on Xbox, so I'm aware of the long-standing, misguided stigma against Pip as a healer, despite him arguably being one of the best. Legitimately just the only time I've ever had a tank mad at me for putting out over 10k/min heals and keeping them to only 5 deaths.
@@keoniscrimmager200 Yeah, that's why I'm often pretty critical of support players. Like, if you're going to force me to flex off my main--especially on a map he excels on--to point tank because we only would have a solo Khan/Raum/Yag otherwise, then you bet I'm going to expect you to keep me up to at least a reasonable degree. If they go FL/Res Ying, Eterm Furia, or Cripple/BS Jenos, you better believe I'm not going to be polite about it. Don't care if you want to run goofy, unless you specify you want to dps in the lobby chat before the match, if you run healer, you should be healing. This is a team game, after all, and it isn't fair to the other four players just because you want to play selfishly.
I've honestly never seen a community as aggressively hostile toward support players as the Paladins community (And this includes Overwatch and League of Legends). It's unreal.
I will admit that while I consider myself a casual and chill player I will slowly loose my shit in a natch where we're getting rolled lmao. I think nice players could also include tanks who use their shields to protect you or the Nandos that use ult just so you don't die
At least in games like those, the match ends fairly quickly. It's annoying, sure, but take comfort in the fact that you'll be in the next game before you know it

Arrogance has its place to a point in games like Paladins. Believing in yourself is half the battle; you can believe yourself as a great player, but you can't treat others like they're below you at the same time, if that makes sense. I play 10x better if I'm chilling out and think I'm doing well than if I'm constantly down on my gameplay and think I suck. But again, you can't be toxic about it.
Really interesting video man. I think im the causal nice person with some arrogant elements, but it''s always true, cause i have unstable 200+ ping XD. But i never blame people for bad playing, exept for afk of course.
5:32 i can still remember that game, right when i started playing, the third game i've played ever.... s-someone....locked my furia ! devastated, i picked maeve due to the lack of flanks and- well i did pretty good ngl we won yay happy happy happy another story, at my VERY FIRST GAME....i remember it like it was yesterday.... well it was today, actually, but, that's not important.... as i've picked my furia, my screen started to glitch, and i had to afk for nearly a minute to fix the issue.... well we still won but i got scared that i would have ruined some internet stranger's game
i once got a teammate who played lillith but only used blood hex on other female characters with the reasoning "vampires are gay" and i think that was very fun
Eehh I partially agree on the last one. There are support players who backseats their dps and sometimes getting sarcastic/toxic if they don't do well, funniest thing I've ever seen.
Found a 5 stack in casuals after the healer had them in a previous match. After a very sweaty match they where toxic as hell in the end with a perfect team comp and I'm running a damn yog for quest. I like yog but damn catizize hurts
Had a Tiberius player literally getting mad and shit talking me because I was buying items in a certain order in which he did not approve of while I was playing Pip. This was just a casual onslaught match by the way. He's one of those players who takes gaming way too seriously.
You forgot the thrower. This people leave the match as soon as they die once or when someone in the team dies. They say "gg" when that happens and they wont move nor answer the chat.
Omg that one person when he sees that we are loosing like for 2 . They spam in chat "i will be afk you noobs let them win" and you can clearly see him running around our spam i was so mad and at the end he came up when we killed everybody and won then he said"you guys won bec of me"
Maeve and Vora Players: Have me raging and dying inside cuz all they do is clean up Skye and Jenos Players: Always use their alts at the right time. Furia Players: Making you furious because she snipes you across the map with her stun and your character gets one tapped. Maldamba Players: Play 100 plus hours Sha Lin Players: ...Does anyone even play Sha Lin Grohk Players:Dying as soon as the ultimate is used ??? Players: The Forgotten and dead
i feel the reason for toxicity is because people dont branch out enough. in a game with like 50 champions (maybe more) i am blown away by how thin peoples playable roster is. If you try and play support you realize its an unforgiving and tough job, play flank and you realize its extremely isolating and not easy, play tank and you realize the chaos and stress. walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you talk, and if they are actually bad.... well, its just a game. peace and love all.
Well, im a tryhard player that mains TANK role and was a long term onetrick. I played Fernando for a YEAR ranked only cuz i was always the only tank in lobby thank God and it was 2017 and was 3rd Fernando on ps4 ranked that year. Was 2 game away from 1st place but then i was on the losing streak cuz i always played with randoms for fun, the only thing i did back then was i'd spend 4-5h playing paladins every day 1 casual warmup and the rest ranked with only FERNANDO. My build was shit, yet i managed to reach what i have. In the end i had like 250-300 wins and a 100 or over 100 less losses so i was good. At the end of the ranked season i got 1,5M f-ing gold and bought the shit outta every champion and skin lmao. I play every class and try to have 4 champs of each class so i can be more versatile. For tanks i play, ofc, Fernando, Khan, Term, Makoa, Barik, Atlas (Deja Vu), Ruckus (im ok with him, however i might lack team coordination with him cuz i cant carry), Raum, Inara and somewhat Ash. Damage is Drogoz (on pc im godly with him but on ps4 i always get super rusty and SUCK worse than anyone else playing drogoz for the first time cuz i cant hit anything while im flying and im lvl 50-60 i forgot. I need a lot of time to get back in shape with him again), Strix (i often get heads, can say im proud of my skill with him), Dredge (0 skill), Viktor, Tyra, BK (im ok with him however im often troubled against flanks). Flanks only Zhin, Koga, Androxus (cant fly but on ground im good with aim and speed), Lex (im eh... Ok i think), Maeve (cat burglar, im still practicing but im getting to ok level). Now to supports, my 2nd fav class after tanks and STRIX (my fav dmg :v), Jenos (im great Jenos), Pip (great too), Furia (im a cancer with her if i take exterminate), Seris (0 skill champ), Grohk (im decent), Grover (im good), Io (im ok, maybe need better positioning), Mal Damba (i was good however im too rusty for him atm)
I have got queued with a master in my team when I was silver, we both are Italians, and he started to insult me for no reason because I wanted to use damage champion, but obviously I was the last one to pick and he said "bro u are shit, use the tank and shut up" so I picked IO for heal because before that some players in my team with some brain picked 2 tanks, we lost the game at the last round and that guy restarted with his thing like "no healing" or "I'm best player in Italy, how can I be with a shitty silver" and I think there are like 5 people that play paladins in Italy actually, at the of the game I did 200k+ healing.
I'm an evie main I make sure not to one trick her and I have atleast one or two champs from each category on lv 30 but I only play 'meta' champs or champs I really enjoy like khan or tallus probably fall under the try hard category though I rarely play something without thinking about winning
You forgot the Goofy Teammate/Professional Clown. These players have been playing the game for so long or gotten so good, that they cease to take any part of it even remotely serious. The Clown is not bad though--actually being quite a good player, great even. They usually have a friendly demeanor, and unlike the Arrogant or the Tryhard, their prowess at the game comes more naturally. The Clown is essentially a veteran player who doesn't take the game seriously and is full of antics. They'll be wearing a Christmas in the middle of April, and get triple kills while doing it.
I already answerd you in your pinned comment but i still want to request a Video about Vora because Like i Said i Like Vora as a Champion and i Like you as a RUclipsr. And i also feel Like you are one of those Persons who could really give a nice and good explanation, If you decide to do a other Video thats cool too, i dont expect you to do that but i would really apriciate it. I in General enjoy your content and yeah have a better night than me ☕
For me I love the nice players like I tried to be a nice player but when there's a toxic person I don't talk on the mic to say make fun of my voice and stuff like that and yes I do stutter have the time but I do have a disability
I was definitely a noob on my first game but my first game was actually the best game I ever had, I played onslaught as Viktor and the enemy team didn't score a single point and I had a 70 streak. Although I'm assuming they were also playing they're first games so it doesn't really count 😅. And I'm just a casual I enjoy chilled vibes and playing every champion I feel like regardless of meta
hey just thought i would let you know theres no players in your first couple of games so i reckon you could beat it if you go into practice siege because thats what it is honestly alot better than i did im pretty sure i got like 8 kills
I won all my games my first night playing. No lie. The next night I got on I got absolutely steam rolled nearly every game. Just the way it is. You either crush or get crushed. It’s just the way it is.
I'm a casual and I encountered a rager and a toxic player , but interesting thing he has not raging or being toxic against me he was to the other teammates
I dont really feel like it's a popular opinion but just wanna find the same person ahah. I just play tanks cuz u know, ima big chungus, i dont give a sheet, i can demolish and just survive, ima ToNk(especially with atlas, hes an icon of not giving a sheet)
I think it lack one more type player that might be not as common to see (i was that player). I am not sure how much changed since last time i played was 2018. So i am talking about self build guys. That like experimenting with builds. P.s i came up with a name. Talent card enjoyer
Best kinds of players are the ones who play champions because they're fun for them rather than choosing the champion that can stomp everyone into the ground and ruin the game from for everyone else.
Honestly looking at this and coming from ow2 im just trying to learn the game but i can be very toxic i know its not nice and tend to not be toxic or let things affect me but at the same time i feel like a ticking time bomb if someone comes to me saying im the reason were losing (As support) when they are the ones feeding their a55 off then i break and be toxic, i dont want to be the "toxic teammate" anymore ig XD any tips?
I played with this guy once, he flamed the entire team, for the entire match, you would think that he was playing very tight right? Well, this same man was constantly throwing himself at the entire enemy team alone (he was a flank btw, not exactly the most frontline class), and still was entitle as shit
Which one are you?
Casual for sure
Look im not trying to look good but im the last one most of the time uless the servers are acting up

5:32 i can still remember that game, right when i started playing, the third game i've played ever.... s-someone....locked my furia ! devastated, i picked maeve due to the lack of flanks and- well i did pretty good ngl we won yay happy happy happy
another story, at my VERY FIRST GAME....i remember it like it was yesterday.... well it was today, actually, but, that's not important.... as i've picked my furia, my screen started to glitch, and i had to afk for nearly a minute to fix the issue.... well we still won but i got scared that i would have ruined some internet stranger's game
i once got a teammate who played lillith but only used blood hex on other female characters with the reasoning "vampires are gay" and i think that was very fun
I was a combination of everything
Including onetrick
Varies time to time though
Yuh
Eehh I partially agree on the last one. There are support players who backseats their dps and sometimes getting sarcastic/toxic if they don't do well, funniest thing I've ever seen.
If I had to put the nice person in my spectrum, that would be most Frontline players who knows to protect their dps and healers.
us filler players need some recognition
Found a 5 stack in casuals after the healer had them in a previous match. After a very sweaty match they where toxic as hell in the end with a perfect team comp and I'm running a damn yog for quest. I like yog but damn catizize hurts
Why did I just get an ad for erectile dysfunction
😂
Had a Tiberius player literally getting mad and shit talking me because I was buying items in a certain order in which he did not approve of while I was playing Pip. This was just a casual onslaught match by the way. He's one of those players who takes gaming way too seriously.
Casual, nice (yes I am support main hello), and a bit of a rager depending on how the game and my team goes into this. ;v;
You forgot the thrower.
This people leave the match as soon as they die once or when someone in the team dies.
They say "gg" when that happens and they wont move nor answer the chat.
thats the afk guy
1 minute into the video and I’m dying laughing 🤣
But we have the Paladins Slander by the ever great Makoa.
Omg that one person when he sees that we are loosing like for 2 . They spam in chat "i will be afk you noobs let them win" and you can clearly see him running around our spam i was so mad and at the end he came up when we killed everybody and won then he said"you guys won bec of me"
Maeve and Vora Players: Have me raging and dying inside cuz all they do is clean up
Skye and Jenos Players: Always use their alts at the right time.
Furia Players: Making you furious because she snipes you across the map with her stun and your character gets one tapped.
Maldamba Players: Play 100 plus hours
Sha Lin Players: ...Does anyone even play Sha Lin
Grohk Players:Dying as soon as the ultimate is used
??? Players: The Forgotten and dead
Also maeve Players: always stealing your fckin kill when it has only 10 HP left 😐😐😐
buck players: spam group up in chat just to jump halfway across the map onto there enemy team by themself
you forgot one, the one who let you die in front of him just for nothing, cause they like watching teammates dying.
Video idea: 10 stages of (mains). Example. 10 stages of meave mains

i feel the reason for toxicity is because people dont branch out enough. in a game with like 50 champions (maybe more) i am blown away by how thin peoples playable roster is.
Fernando lvl 113 rn while Drogoz is my 2nd most leveled champ. Khan and koa and jenos are lvl 40. Its funny how Fernando has no gold skin yet.
Androxus mains should have their own category
I'm an evie main I make sure not to one trick her and I have atleast one or two champs from each category on lv 30 but I only play 'meta' champs or champs I really enjoy like khan or tallus probably fall under the try hard category though I rarely play something without thinking about winning
the one who is always challanging for a 1v1
I only discovered this recently (kinda) despite 90% completion on paladins that auto purchase on perks was thing 🤣
oh my god😂
You forgot the Goofy Teammate/Professional Clown. These players have been playing the game for so long or gotten so good, that they cease to take any part of it even remotely serious. The Clown is not bad though--actually being quite a good player, great even. They usually have a friendly demeanor, and unlike the Arrogant or the Tryhard, their prowess at the game comes more naturally. The Clown is essentially a veteran player who doesn't take the game seriously and is full of antics. They'll be wearing a Christmas in the middle of April, and get triple kills while doing it.
Me: *A ying main using focusing lens*
Rager Support player
*grohk noises*
I wish that my noob mates in ranked had at least items but most of the time not even that they have
def the noob , will take me some time getting costumed with the card system.
This cassie summer skins is speak so much. When in my team I always mute :D
One more type : GrandMasters
Agshually
I main Furia and play casually but my brother is the rager 😂 and I might fit in the nice person role.
As a nice player I always said good game when the match is over 😊
I dont really feel like it's a popular opinion but just wanna find the same person ahah. I just play tanks cuz u know, ima big chungus, i dont give a sheet, i can demolish and just survive, ima ToNk(especially with atlas, hes an icon of not giving a sheet)
What was that Maeve Build ?
I think it lack one more type player that might be not as common to see (i was that player). I am not sure how much changed since last time i played was 2018.
So i am talking about self build guys. That like experimenting with builds.
P.s i came up with a name. Talent card enjoyer
Best kinds of players are the ones who play champions because they're fun for them rather than choosing the champion that can stomp everyone into the ground and ruin the game from for everyone else.
I'm the one trick player, my main is Skye but I can also play Viktor well
Honestly looking at this and coming from ow2 im just trying to learn the game but i can be very toxic i know its not nice and tend to not be toxic or let things affect me but at the same time i feel like a ticking time bomb if someone comes to me saying im the reason were losing (As support) when they are the ones feeding their a55 off then i break and be toxic, i dont want to be the "toxic teammate" anymore ig XD any tips?
im that cassie
I played with this guy once, he flamed the entire team, for the entire match, you would think that he was playing very tight right? Well, this same man was constantly throwing himself at the entire enemy team alone (he was a flank btw, not exactly the most frontline class), and still was entitle as shit
