Listening to this makes me cry with laughter (as it has the last 20+ times I've seen it) today mixed with tears of sadness knowing that this seemingly endless flow of inspiration has come to an end. I doubt whether in what remains of my life I'll ever find anyone that makes me laugh so much.
I was privileged to spend an evening with Dame Edna during her Final Farewell Tour at the Los Angeles Ahmanson Theatre in 2015. It was blissful evening with the brilliant and magnificent treasure, Barry Humphries and his beyond-delightful persona, Dame Edna... truly a night I have and will never forget. He was an absolute one of a kind and a gift to us all. RIP, you funny man.

I can't get over the image of the Queen tottering down into the kitchen for a midnight snack in a slightly stained brunch coat! Brilliant!!!!! And all too human. True comedy makes you think how that situation applies to you, than once you've identified, you see how funny it is! That's what the Dame did for us, and it will be greatly missed!
