Beggars belief is more like “it strains your ability to believe”. Beggars description would be difficult (or even impossible) to describe

I LOVE Adam Buxton! He’s not on TV as much as he should be so unfortunately not much for you to react to. He does appear a few times more in Dictionary Corner and it’s all gold. He did a show in the late 90s with his friend Joe Cornish called (imaginatively) The Adam & Joe Show but I don’t think it will be your cup of tea. He has an excellent podcast though which I thoroughly recommend.
Dave Gorman also gets a lot of mileage out of internet comments in his "found poems". I'd like to see more of Adam Buxton on this show. I also like that guest they have on who does "hospital radio" but his name escapes me.

I'm hoping to see Adam in Taskmaster at some point, so we can get 10 whole episodes of his specific brand of humour.
Yeh think he'd do well. Been binging taskmaster recently as I'm unemployed.forgot how great it was.my favourite is series 12 with the beautiful Morgana robinson😋but each contestant was great in their own mad way

i got the numbers game they all struggled with (and within time)... 50-10=40. 40x25=1000-6-3-7=984 🙃

Working backwards on the numbers sometimes helps. You can divide 984 by 3 to get 328 which you can get pretty easily with the other numbers.

50*6 = 300 | 300+25+3 = 328 | 10-7 = 3 | 328 x 3 = 984
was quite proud of myself for beating rachel on that one 😅

In the first letters game, they also could have had 'zealous' for seven, instead of the rather more obscure 'zonules'
Internet comments and the Dictionary corner slot are a rich vein of material for laughs and it suits Adam Buxton nicely here .

For the first time I got the numbers round in the 30 seconds and (hope I’m right) it’s a lot easier than Rachel’s solution. 50-10=40 * 25=1000 -7 -3 - 6 =984.
Yeh but she didn’t have half an hour to work it out.
Not sure why she struggled on that one. There is loads of ways. I did (25+50+7)x((6/3)+10) OR basically 82x12
@@TheCornishCockney but that’s the Point isn’t it? I didn’t have half an hour and as I said for the first time I did it in the 30 seconds. Usually takes 5 mins and a calculator. She is bloody brilliant and is allowed in fairness the odd blip. How she sees the results at times is weird, often using the 94 times table or by just knowing that 27*17 is 459. Clever girl for sure.

Id love to see you guys watch a full episode,intervils and all... very important! Break it up anyway that you guys need too for utube, watching cat's does count down weekly for Irish/brits was the best hilarious comedy ever, don't try to hard with the game... your will automatically learn different ways to improve your game!
If you liked the Adam Buxton bit you should react to some of his BUG shows. He basically does the RUclips comments thing but on music videos on RUclips. There's quite a few episodes and the whole show isn't just that so you'd have to cut just that bit for a shorter reaction video though

You guys need to start a new channel on how far balls would be dragged through glass for various prizes. Japanese networks would buy it for sure.
My numbers: 983 = (25 * 6 - 10) * 7 + 3 or 985 = (50 * 7 - 25) * 3 + 10. Couldn't get closer than 1 away. =(
I think she gave the complicated solution to not drive the contestants mad. The easy one was:
50-10=40
40*25=1000
1000-6-3-7=984
This game is hard and then they try and put you off.

How would a calculator help, there must be hundreds of ways to combine those numbers, they only have 30 seconds
