As a lifelong fan of the series, this looks like the perfect blend of everything Zelda has accomplished in its 35+ years: an epic story, engaging environments, lovable characters, and seemingly endless possibilities. Absolutely stunning!

I was basically in tears at the end on the trailer. just hearing that same part of the theme from when I was a child in the 80s is just incredibly powerful to me.

i've never screamed while watching a game trailer before. all the years we waited, theorized, got delays. it was all worth it. even just to see this trailer it was worth it.

Hey, I’m here to talk about how Nintendo has been copyright, striking everything even for some on modified games and they said hey, you can play the game and stream it or make videos on it but then they say that you cannot at the same time and it makes no sense
In 2017, DanTDM's video on Breath of the Wild changed how I look at video games forever. I put 270 hours into that game on my Wii U that summer. Since then, I have played and completed every mainline Zelda game. In 2017, I was in 7th grade. Now I'm a senior in high school. BOTW changed how I see video games, and it looks like TOTK will do the exact same. Not only is this game the sequel to my favorite game of all time, it's a send off to my youth. Thank you, Nintendo
This is amazing! It looks like things that were missing in BOTW will be front and center in TOTK! Dungeons, unique bosses, deeper story telling, etc etc!
I love how the Zelda team went about breaking up these two games.
When making a game, especially an open world game, you are always trading off between building the world and filling the world.
The worst outcome is ending up half-baking both. But I love that the Zelda team embraced that trade-off.
In BOTW, they focused deeply on the world itself. The mechanics, the landscape, etc. So you can tell they didn't have as much time to add unique content to it (lack of unique bosses, etc). It can feel a bit empty and lonely at times.
But what's amazing is that they leaned right into it, and made the world, the WILD, the focus. The whole experience was about enjoying the world and feeling lonely at times, like Link must have felt.
Now with TOTK, they have the world, and can focus on the content. That really comes through in the trailer - bosses, dungeons, story, companions! It feels triumphant because we experienced the loneliness with Link in the first game, but now we get to go on this emotional journey with him in this game.
So instead of being hindered by the limitations of game development, they turned it into a story and experience all in itself. That is just amazing to see.

It seems like they’re making the boss battles and dungeons more creative than the same repetitive divine beasts/shrines which I’m so here for. Stoked to see Ganondorf returning as well

I would be more excited for this if it weren't for Nintendo copyright striking and claiming a bunch of RUclipsrs for playing their games and I hope that Nintendo gets off there high horse and continue letting content creators make video of their games. Until then I refuse to buy anymore games or anything by Nintendo till they fix this issue.
There's no word to describe the pure joy and amazement I felt looking at this masterpiece of a trailer. There definitely were some tears and intense goosebumps.
All the people who were saying this game is a dlc, Nintendo proved them SO wrong.

Up to everything that was shown before this 3rd trailer, to me it could very well be a BoTW dlc branded as a "new" game, but after seeing this one you can tell Nintendo has just being holding back to surprise you with a reprise of its finest game for good 😮

this trailer is beautiful, not only is introducing so much new content, it also looks like it’s refreshing some minor(or major) movement problems. GODDD IM SO EXCITED, can u believe we’ve waited so long and rhe fact they’re finally teasing up the game and it’s only a MONTH away, usually games tease a trailer and we wait forever but nah we have a month man. i’m so happy, finally we have a game worth playing😭

I go through phases of playing games and one of the few things that make me buy a game (coz let's face it not everyone can drop £60 on a game just going off a trailer) is watching others play it first.
Stop abusing your own rules to take down videos and harass content creators. The biggest reason I was hyped to buy tears of the kingdom was purely because of the RUclips community..... Now that your attacking them I no longer want the game
