Half of his ‘predictions’ were based off reports we already know and the other half of them were incredibly specific or just flat out silly (not a chance NFTs are the BIGGEST news story of the year).

Halo: Combat Evolved was remade for Xbox 360 after original Xbox. Some may argue it as a remaster but everything was redone so I think it counts as a remake

A Arkham style Moon Knight game with a morality system like inFamous. Moon Knight does kill unlike Batman. So the more you kill the more you start to see Khonshu and hallucinate.
You could also do detective missions and rescue missions as Mr. Knight. Help grow the Midnight Mission.

Getting major Deja Vu with this ep!! What a trip!
Predictions:
- Zelda will not come out this year
- FF16 will come out and be the best single player FF in years
- Agree with Blessing: Project Spartacus will come out and it will basically be PS Plus and PS Now combined but with a few more PS2 and PS1 games.
- We will see more and more efforts of unionization in the industry and see at least 1 success.
- Naughty Dog will unveil Factions along with how they've changed their work/life for their employees.
- Sonic Frontiers will come out and be mid. As a Sonic fan, I've seen this happen.
- Yakuza 8 will get announced, JRPG and it will come out next year.
- MVC2 Remaster will come out and have roll back netcode
UPDATE: All ya'll saying Zeldas gonna come out this year but FF16 won't, meanwhile we know we're hearing about FF16 in spring but still radio silence from Nintendo since E3. As an FF14 fan, Yoshi-P focusing on wanting to show the game WHEN IT'S READY, I'm confident it will come out.

To BluePoint remaking Bloodborne, here’s some of BluePoint’s remake remaster projects time wise:
God of War Collection (2009) - GoW II (2007): [Remaster]
Ico & SotC Collection (2011) - SotC (2005): [Remaster]
MGS HD Collection (2011) - Peace Walker (2010): [Remaster]
Uncharted ND Collection (2015) - Uncharted 3 (2011): [Remaster]

Demon’s Souls (2020) - Demon’s Souls (2009) [Remake]
So with remasters, they definitely have a quicker turn around. I’m guessing they have multiple teams though, and while one team was working on Demon’s Souls, another could be working on the Bloodborne remake. Theoretically, they do have a team working on original content now, but the other team (Demon’s Souls team) could be working on the PS5 Bloodborne remake that will come out after their next project.

The few things that I could see making me hype this year is Metroid Prime 4, a Legend of Dragoon Remake or a Revival of Breath of Fire
Prediction: Assassin's Creed will go full service game, with even more predatory microtransactions and mad grind, Ubisoft will still be protecting abusers while talking about all the strides they are making against abuse.

As far as Bloodbourne goes (which I loved but if I never saw a remake, that'd be okay) I think if they did remake it, the best baller move would be this. Announce a remake coming to console late this year or early next year (with a year cap on a PC release most likely), alongside the announcement that a Bloodbourne sequel is beginning production over at From Software.

Totally agree with Andy on the Bloodborne prediction. I think Bluepoint is big enough to have multiple teams and will always be working on a remaster of some sort as well as original content, be it an existing or new IP.
As much as I love and adore BotW, I have a hard time picturing the sequel having the same impact. I myself will probably love it, but it will surely sell fewer copies and might, typically enough, score much lower on reviews than its predecessor. Definitely my highest anticipated game ever, but I am very cautiously optimistic as the disappointment risk is that much greater.
I think it'll feel like DLC thats the length of a full game. Hope they do manage to innovate enough to make it something new, whether it's gameplay or story.

The bloodborne rumor was that it was getting the usual bump in resolution and framerate, but very specific things will be further touched upon like textures or hair/fur shaders, but the majority of the game would go untouched as far as creative changes go

Infamous second son, is due for a upgraded version. It stuggled to hit 60fps originally and this game would probobly look gorgeous with ray tracing :)

Tim talking about Xbox Game Studios making a Marvel game got me thinking: given their acclaimed work on Hellblade tackling Psychosis and mental health, what if Ninja Theory took on a Moon Knight game? Would be interested to see how that studio tackles dissociative identity disorder; combine that with some action combat a la DMC, and I think that could be epic!

As someone who has been a Saints Row fan since the first game, I really didn’t like 4 at all. 3 was enjoyable but I want the series to be more grounded again like 2. I don’t think I’ll get that but I’m hoping this next one will at least be a good mix of 2 and 3. I want it more grounded but still with some of the wacky stuff that comes along with Saints Row lol
I am more in 3/4 camp. The biggest issue I have with this new one is how listless it seems.

1. On Metacritic, Horizon = 92, GOW = 93, GT 7 = 88, Forspoken = 85
2. TLOU 1 remake is the first-party holiday game, with GOW releasing in August or September
3. A bundle of TLOU 2 Directors Cut and Factions 2 is announced to release in the first 3 months of 2023
4. Spartacus only has day one releases for some third-party games. Tier 1 will have 5-10 hit games added, like Spiderman, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, possibly TLOU 2, and a few third-party games like FF7 remake. 2nd tier adds ps4 games and some less popular ps5 games like destruction all-stars, godfall, oddworld ps5 version, and will have a 3-month availability of Returnal or Ratchet to help get people to subscribe to tier 2 right away.
5.. No more publishers are acquired this year
6.. Guerilla's other game is revealed for a late 2023 release. Ghost of Tsushima teased for 2024 release
7. We get word that Ember Labs is beginning to make a ps5 console exclusive

In terms of one gen remasters we have both last of us games, all the uncharted games, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, I can think of a few others but they are not sony exclusives.
Playing Bloodborne again I just really wish it was 60 fps. Sekiro and the dark souls remastered feel great to play on ps5. Hope Andy’s prediction comes true

There have been rumours of Overwatch animated show and a Diablo Tv show, maybe even anime for a loooong time so that will probably still be in place.
When I saw the release trailer for saints row reboot I was looking forward to it but as Greg Miller stated the more I see the game the more it just looks the same just with slightly better graphics.

1:07:00 Shadow was not poorly recieved, it just wasn't up to the acclaim of the previous titles. Metacritic has it at an 82 on Xbox and a 75 for PS4 with sites like IGN giving it a 9. Also, the ending of Shadow hints at a remake of the original 1996 game.
The new saints row seems similar to what watch dogs 2 did. The difference is watch dogs was trying to get less serious and saints row is trying to get more grounded.

The cool thing about games like Last of Us Part 2 or God of War (2018) is that you don’t have to look up a bunch of videos to find out what the hell those games are about. They actually tell you beautiful, gut wrenching stories and they mean something the second you see them on the screen.
I’m sorry, never played a From Soft game, they could be great gameplay wise, but if you have to research the story to actually find the story, that’s a fundamental failure.
I think The Rock's movie is God of War. Sony said they had like 10-15 movies/shows in development, and I think that fits.
As for the Marvel game, if it were to happen, I think it'd be Black Panther, Blade, or maybe Thor?
I honestly want Bluepoint to make their own content. What they’ve done, especially with Demon Souls, they need to be let loose in their own stuff. Shackling them with remakes is a waste of talent.

I have a dream BB PS5 and/or PC release. Updated qol stuff like updated travel system maybe polish some textures 60+ fps of course, maybe updated PVP balance and EAC for PC AND an expansion at least as big the old hunter DLC. It would be a great BB2 compromise imo. I'm not convinced we need BB2 but maybe a smaller story added to the original game would be very cool. I don't think Bluepoint DeS style remake is necessary tho at the least just give it 60fps and put it on PS5 and PC.
