- Buster, being left-handed, learned to play on a right-handed guitar. Wanting to fret with his right hand and pick with the left (like lefties do), flipping the guitar over was the only option at the time and the playing style stuck.

We're actually lucky to hear what, not only Buster's, but also HLB and Vildhjarta are creating.. I'm a fervant lover of quality, and listening to those guys' music is such a blessing to my ears and i'm not exagerrating.
I don't have enough words to describe how much i enjoy what they produce in terms of music but also the mix. The mix man.. I don't listen to the music, i savor it.

@@bmhyakiri I'm well aware of the new album, I've listened to it hundreds of times. HLB also released an album last year, and given that context it feels like the comment I replied to is saying that Vildhjarta are creating right now.

I don't see how that is more easy or difficult than any other? It's not like he started off playing normal right-handed.
For him that's his "normal" and it's not really more difficult if you start out that way
I’m guessing neither of you played guitar… chord formations are different if you flip the strings like that and finger placements different. On top of that he has to do everything by ear cause I can’t imagine trying to read tabs while playing like that
Unless he had some sorta way to flip the tabs to make it easier

this sounds a lot like the last Vildhjarta while at the same time sounding different. In other words, magic. that being said, the new Vildhjarta was simply too much for me. My eardrums could not take it.

I play a subzero rogue and always have this ugly crunch/schk in the tone that’s difficult to EQ, using archetype abasi. Busters tone is so clear and displays the quality of the low notes so well it’s ridiculous

@@off6848 idk if he explained it, i know some influential guitarists played this way like dick Dale, i suppose it lends itself to a certain style of rhythm guitar
