Hello just wanted to say the job you doing is on another level 👍! Joel if you familiar with automatic transmission e39 528i 5HP-18 from 1998 low mileage around 35 000miles... Sometimes I start experiencing a Bang/Clunck sound from the gearbox only when cruising-car slowing down engine not being under load. Not alwas but just sometimes!? Electrical, selenoids, software updates (some says)
found a complete "burnt" e46 04 model sedan with a good rear end, 5 speed ZF, shaft and 2000 miles on the clutch b4 the headlights caught fire and totaled the car out, for 700 dollars US.... needless to say ill be getting my AUTO ripped out here real soon as well. glad you showed me cruise control. bc i sure as fuck need that!

I would be careful to check youre not over extending your clutch when you put your pedal to the floor. From what ive heard you have the clutch grab at the bottom as so it doesnt compress your stuff too much.
i agree, I thought that the way he did that that he would solder it or something, splices like that seem a bit questionable to me for something that you probably really need to stay together

GM5 module is probably soft-failing for those locks
