You still seem to amaze me with that E30. Not a lot of guys in your generation that know how to get down and dirty and fix cars like you do. Bruh you have a life long skill and I'm super happy I get to watch on RUclips.
Man watching you do everything under the car like that just makes me feel more confident to work on my own car. Feels like every other RUclipsr has their own garage with a lift and every specialty tool, so good to see this amazing build being done with basics
I must say. What I witness watching this video reminds me of fixing changing my gearbox, clutch and pressure plate back in the 1990s. Young Man you may not know it now but you are going to be a very special human being. Just watching you with that gearbox on your chest, man it almost made me cry I was there. My only advise to you is; watch when you drive fast. Sometime it might okay, other times it will not. Your life is very very special. Congrat on the car, your work ethic and your determination Almighty GOD has Bless you let him know you apprecriate it.
thank you so much Hayden 😭😭 i always love comments like these. you have no idea how much it means to me ❤️ the spinning out happened 8 months ago and now i have 135 whp more. i’ve been very cautious about where i rip now because of that. there’s very few roads where i feel safe enough to fully let it eat anymore. it was a very good lesson for me that i had to learn!
Over time I've noticed that I have a lot more room when I just lift the back end of my car instead if 4 jackstands. But props for struggling people like us with no lift 😂
Recent sub here, love the videos and what you have done with this e30! As a mechanic for more than half my live and owning my own e30 since I was an apprentice 18 years and counting I would strongly advise you fitting a strut brace to your fine car as e30s have a nasty habit of the front valances falling in towards each other and effectively recking the shell! The best ones to go for are the one piece fixed types! Keep up the great work/content as it’s very inspiring to the point of me thinking mabey it’s time to pull the finger out and resurrect my car that hasn’t been on the road since 2009 ....!
@@ImJoel tell me about it i get some luck as i'm dutch so i can get cheaper parts in poland mostly. Then again i had to import a crankshaft from the US and pay around 300 dollars soley for import.
No words can explain how good and motivated you are. I don’t have that patience like you. I watched all your videos, one thing you have to do is gifting your e30 better than these alloy rims. Be safe dude
Too many people makes videos on a clutch and then skip one of the most important parts, driving impressions. You did a great job I appreciate you bro. So 3 years later, whats the verdict?
This is crazy bro just got my clutch in for e36 m52 I went with the cheap Sachses ecs single mass fly wheel and damn I wish I spent the extra to get that!
See if you can install a CDV (Clutch Delay Valve) from an e36 or e46. I Had same problem in my boosted e46 and put mine back. It absorbs the shock from dumping the clutch when shifting hard. Clutch might see more wear put it saves your driveline and subframe.
I bought one of those keyless entry sets and wired it up and it wouldn’t work I know it was getting power cause I could program it and use the same wiring you did so I guess my central locking system is shot
7:30 man I can relate so fking much to that :)) I don't have a garage and did put in an m50 turbo on an e46 and was bench pressing the gearbox on my chest with the car damn close to my face... not a fun position
Do you have Any rattle noise with this clutch set? I have 6,9kg billet flywheel and sre765 clutch with sprung Carbon/kevlar disc and there is rattle when accelerating at very low rpm(1500-2000), I’m not sure if it’s my 5speed zf gearbox or clutch what makes that rattle 😃 It’s nothing serious but very annoying sometimes
@@ImJoel also are you staying early model bumpers or gonna switch to late model eventually? I believe You can buy late model with the euro trim to same some money aswell
they have a crazy back order for the ceramic ones and even if i build my engine i don’t think i want to go over the power level that i’m at. it’s way too much for the street. so with that, i’m hoping this clutch will do

I laughed so hard when you put the gearbox back. It looked like you were fucking it🤣🤣🤣. Honestly love the build. Keep it up
lmao i had to fuck it real quick. Thank you though!!

theres no way this is free content bro. so good you work so fast keep it up
Looking at your e30 makes me feel motivated to finish mine..... If only i had the money.
they're so expensive it hurts. but i love it too much!

@Liljay203 i can't tell you which is objectively better i am a HUGE fan of german cars and i'm most familiar with mk4 VW's and the inline 6 BMW's.
@Liljay203 if you like euros better go e30 . Japanese fan go 350z both very good cars .
I’ve put well over $10k into my s54 and the car still needs loads of work lol

This E30 is clean man keep up the work brotha🔥🙌🏽
i can understand your pain that u've been through.... this journey really fun and satisfied when u finish it and its is make up bro
E30s will always have my heart man
I recently got a e30 and seeing how good your e30 looks makes me excited to build mines ! 🤧
its nice seeing somone living ur dream
What’s more impressive is my guy still has time to make sure the spinners still spinnin 🌀🌀🌀
Nice work dude, she coming together bit by bit.
Dude, your videos are amazing!!! This makes me more confident to work on my e30 (when i get one lol)
Next time, don’t use the creeper. Put the transmission on you just like you did but without the creeper. Way more room.
Man that looks scary, waiting on that elbow to trigger the stand and squish
dkm is awesome I have it on my 135i and I'm going to put it on the n54 e30 I'm building. also hopefully one day mine can look as clean as yours!
This is crazy bro just got my clutch in for e36 m52 I went with the cheap Sachses ecs single mass fly wheel and damn I wish I spent the extra to get that!
She is a beautiful car here in south Africa she would've been in every car magazine front page i promise you that

Definitely getting a twin disc after this for mine fire video bro💪🏼🔥
This is the non-ceramic DKM twin disk right?
Also you should set up a clutch stop if you want to get rid of the dead zone in the clutch
Quality content bro, keep it up
I love these kinda videos👌🏽💪🏽
all i heard was “SOME OALLLL”
u need some?👀
Wow taking out the transmission is way easier without a transfer case in the way 🙃
Is there now a hole in your transmission housing from the broken starter? Greetings from Germany.
I bought one of those keyless entry sets and wired it up and it wouldn’t work I know it was getting power cause I could program it and use the same wiring you did so I guess my central locking system is shot
Did you have the pilot bearing in originally?
yeah it just falls out whenever i take the trans out
You definitely would have been fine with out putting lock tight on that one bolt. But love the build man.
i love your vids man i got a 1991 318i love ripping it around
I heard in one of your videos your from ct but I never notice the areas you drive in
The oil leak is very handy for rust prevention 😜
i got one of these too for my e36, doing a 6sp from a 335i , the clutch is heavy as FUCCCCCKKKK
Dil roy hardest cripple i know
This makes me wanna buy a e30 and do the most😌👌
7:30 man I can relate so fking much to that :)) I don't have a garage and did put in an m50 turbo on an e46 and was bench pressing the gearbox on my chest with the car damn close to my face... not a fun position
Dude last i checked you where at 7k subs when the hell did it go up to 9k
that clutch looks amazing and no chatter ima have to get one xD
Do you have tow hooks or did they pull from the control arms? I’m
Worried about breaking down since I don’t have tow hooks on my e30 😅
I cut my tow hooks off bc i thought i would be running the late model valence/bumper. So we pulled it off the control arm
Ok I did the same. At least I know it works without them.
you need a QuickJack!
I need a shop with a lift lol this was brutal
I need to find another one of these! Tint looks a lot better than I thought. I like the no tint look but this doesn't look bad at all
what slave cylinder do you use with this setup ? u have the same setup but been having issues with my slave
That was one hell of a workout :D
Actually they only weigh like 40lbs as a bmw owner I’ve taken mine out about 5 times for various reasons
That’s exactly how I changed my e30 clutch, shit sucks lol
New sub! Great video
What transmission is that? Like is it from the m20 or m52
whats ur setup with the engine parts and that?
is that an fx clutch?

I think this is normal for single mass conversions, mine does the same thing
Are you snapping much axles ?
I've broken 2 axles so far in a little under a year
That will be the next issue now that the power will go thru the drivetrain.
That and replacing giubos often.
I have a turbo s54 built to handle 30psi and just a single disk clutch lol
Jesus that looks like pure suffering taking the gear box out on Jack stands....! #youareapurelegand
Friends don't let friends buy Spec clutches.
Are you maxed out or can you run more boost?
I think it's just about maxed out with having no forged bottom end
@@ImJoel also are you staying early model bumpers or gonna switch to late model eventually? I believe You can buy late model with the euro trim to same some money aswell
@@MoeGamingYT Euro bumpers is the goal, just have more important things i need to get first
What trans are you using e30 or e36?
It's a ZF320 from an e36
do u have ac in ur car
Next clutch needs to be ceramic !
they have a crazy back order for the ceramic ones and even if i build my engine i don’t think i want to go over the power level that i’m at. it’s way too much for the street. so with that, i’m hoping this clutch will do

25:29 thats what she said
23:33 bro you make the transmission pregnant chill
First
Buy a cop radar dude itll save you
that cop in the video wasn’t using a radar so it wouldn’t have saved me there but i definitely should invest in one

the only thing this car needs is wheels imo, thee wheels are yucky
