    I was going to work off the two tapped holes near the fuel pump that are for early motor mounts for my 283 with "no-holes" power pack heads, but I like your fix better.

    Ok this is a old school thing, the other thing you can do is support the upper bracket ,from the intake to the under side ,I do it to the ground spot

    Do you have power steering? Are you running a long or short water pump, looked like long but I wasn't sure.
