Do the basque people know any of there history from 30,000 years ago? I would love to find out information more about them. It is really hard to find anything about them. Saw a documentary about them but it didn't go back that far.
Im basque and not separatists, the basque nationalism born in the end of XIX.century. the spanish goverment decided to abolish basque autonomy provocking the anger of basques and carlists wars. The basques supports carlists because the king had accepted to maintain de autonomy of the basques. The great problem is that Franco radicalised the nationalism position.
the policeman killed by ETA was a memeber of Ertzaintza, the Basque police. probably more separatist himself than all the ETA memebers together. I am a Basque and can say the guy who talks in this video knows as much about the Basques as I do about martians. An insult to profesionality.
