      lol I made that as well using maple hardwood and a dark walnut stain.

    This is amazing. I wish I had found this channel sooner. @would wood work, what type of product did you use for the chevron slats specifically?

      Thank you for finding us, you are right on time! We used primed MDF, there's low humidity in this room so it was fine to use it here plus mdf sands smooth so we were able to eliminate the seems

      We used 1/2 osb board for the backer

    Where did you get the planks used for the chevron patterns? Did you paint those before installing?

      Solid question, I picked up the nickel gap boards from Lowe's and yes we ALWAY paint the boards before because spraying in the gaps is a challenge once installed
