- In today's video, we're checking out Terraria Craft once again which is a mod for Minecraft which aims to port 95% of Terraria's Content over to Minecraft! After playing for some time I can honestly say Minecraft's Terraria Mod is Shockingly Fun! This is a mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 so go check it out! Today however we find out that Minecraft's Terraria Mod's Jungle is Shockingly Hard!

the on biggest mistake in this mode is the lack of invincibility frames, that's why you died at the end X)
Terraria doesn't have invincibility frames without an item. It's true to form.

every time im hit, i have about half a second of invincibility
its at least been like this since 1.3
@@Nevario1 terraria has brief invincibility when the player is hit and items only extend that invincibility but it is still there
@@Nevario1 If we didn’t have invincibility worm enemies and bosses would’ve killed us fast and easily and the dashing attack of the queen bee would kill you

James in this mod there’s no invincible period after you take dmg so you just got smack by a load of spike thing 15:46

@@chhailongheak1614 invincibility frames seem to exist when not on a rope, ropes seemingly remove them..for some reason, am i just clueless?
I discovered that there's a Terraria mod for 1.14 (the one Chippy is playing is in 1.12) and it has all Terraria bosses in it

The thing about this mod is that it's more about making the experience more emersive rather than just adding all the cool stuff

this mod is a dream come true.
This mod really needs to add immunity frames, you went from full health to no health by those thorns towards the end of the video

Hey James, I’m pretty sure the Rich Mahagony Houses won’t have Boomsticks, etc and will have gold chest loot instead.

The Boomstick can be found in large jungle trees and tombs made of golden bricks

11:53 and 15:45 made it clear that there are no invincibility frames after getting hit. At that second time stamp, Chippy went from full to zero instantly. I know the mod developer has a lot of other things to work on, but this seems like one of those essential pieces that should have been finished early on in the mod's development. What is especially weird is that Minecraft already has invincibility frames, so it seems like the mod developer actually put effort in to _remove_ them.
for the hitches you could allocate more ram, if you're using curseforge (i'm not sure what mod launcher you are using)
"Open your Minecraft client (Java version).
Select the Installations tab towards the top of the launcher.
Hover over your desired profile/Minecraft version, then select the button with the three dots on the right.
Select Edit from the drop-down menu. A modal will appear and More Options will be available in the bottom-right. Select this.
In the "JVM arguments" field, change -Xmx1G to -Xmx#G , replace # with the amount of RAM you'd like to allocate to Minecraft in GB (do not modify any other text).
Select the green Save button and you're done!"
I usually go and allocate 25% of my total ram if it's the only big application i'm using.
that glitch death from jungle thorns was priceless. full 160 health down to 0 in a blink.

The mod just hasn't implemented immunity frames yet so any source of damage does a crap ton if the sources are stacked up on each other.
I left this comment recently on the developers RUclips page for this mod.
“I would just like to say, I will do whatever I can to support the mod creators. This is incredible. I am enjoying watching all of the videos I can find on this mod. I find it so fascinating. The amount of detail put into this mod is second to none. You’re absolutely taking the right path focusing on the small details instead of trying to get more content for “clout” and publicity. I have an idea for the mod: platforms.
You could see through them, use shift to go down through them, and they would look like a bunch of straight boards of wood, with holes between each piece of wood, so you can see through them, AND see them at the same time, without stuff like glass-looking wood.

You can find meteorite from chests and use it to craft meteorite armor and space gun, also i got the arms dealer to spawn by obtaining space gun soo that might work too, also goblin tinkereer does not exists but in creative i did chek out and tinkereers workshop does exists but there is no way to get one

For those who don’t know, they spawn opposite ends of the world… and usually the Snow biome is opposite the jungle to be fair.

Chippy, I think you set your ram a little bit too low. Constant freezes are a sign of that.

Speaking from experience, setting it too high can also cause that. You need a good middle ground.
@@FroststormFrenzy I have 64GB of RAM and when i was playing this mod it was using about 32GB
@@tylerott4989 If you checked out the whole series, Chippy was using 20GB in the first episode and lowered it thanks to viewer's recommendations since.
I don't recall he noted to which number in these youtube uploads.
@@reviewreaper8508 I mean I had it set to 16GB but the game ended up still using about 32GB which is just fine for my computer, but for other people who might not have more than 16GB installed it's kind of an issue lmao

Cool building tip, if you make a fireplace and a chimney. You can connect them with grey bricks to make a proper chimney. But idk if it'll work in terraria craft

Blink root is in the game. I found some on my world. It was in a dirt/clay cave. You can put some clay or dirt down and maybe some will grow overtime. Also, you got stingers and vines and jungle spores, maybe you can make some jungle gear?

In Terraria, the underground jungle should be visited after beating Eye of Cthulhu and increasing health to 200.
The thorn bushes need to be nerfed because they are currently as strong as falling boulders.
Hornets should not be doing 60 damage unless it is expert mode.

actually, i think all damage sources do ignore I-Frames in this mod
One thing to note: dungeons don’t spawn in the jungle. They spawn away from it. Idk if that’s the case in this mod though.

When you died to the thorns while roping up, you were at full health. It happened to me once as well.

There's no invinciblity frames like in terraria, so he'll take the damage all at once.

Awesome vid! I'm playing this too but its not running as smooth as yours. Do you mind sharing the details and settings? I know you mentioned in a video you are running 10G ram for this? Is that the key because even at 10G ram I get stutter especially in a cave with eyeball mobs.

I think if you go the other direction of the jungle then you might find the dungeon, like in regular terraria.

Ok thats awsome james im so glad we finally are so close to the million, but why is your current outro song so ominous and disturbing?
looks like the world gen is trying to make caves over near the ocean, but, there's no mechanism for dropping the sand above what's carved out before the player gets there, so, they walk up and there's suddenly thousands of falling sand blocks that fuck up the game updating.
maybe it was happening with the silt, too, but, I don't quite remember how long you spent in that area, though.
Chippy the dungeon normally spawn on the other side of the jungle so try looking on the other side.

Try digging to the underworld using dynamites
You need to bring in a couple of Minecraft habits: Marking your trail (torches or distinctive blocks), and leaving chests along the way to stash your collected loot and junk.
I am now convinced to play this.
