I'm so thankful that I got mine for free. Something I forgot to say, for people wanting to buy one, but not wanting to give the price, look in the electronic section of BookOff in Japan ;) Second hand but most of the time still working fine ^^
Good video, however the device number is not the model number and neither one has to do with the "number of words installed" (?). Still, a very sounds advice!
Yes, I would suggest looking at book off to see if they don't sell any second hand. Most Japanese people take very good care of their stuff so the chance you will find one in very good condition is quite big 😉
I've got mine as a gift from my wifes father. So I am not sure how you could get them in Europe. Amazon is a possibility, But your best chance on getting one is probably waiting untill you can come here to Japan to buy one. 😅 Because they are meant for Japanese people, they are very very hard to find abroad. I gave up finding one when I was still in Belgium. 😅 Good luck!
hmm i want one. I hope my level of Japanese is good enough. Ofc i know about 300 Kanji’s but my grammar structures aren’t that good 😭 oh can u make a video of the features. Like actually using it
Well, if you are serieus about learning Japanese, spend like a week translating the interface with a normal dictionary xp That's basically what i had done because I received mine at a moment when my Japanese was still not good enough ^^" I could do a video about the features but the problem is, it's an older model, the newer ones have different features and sometimes work a bit different. I may do a video of using a couple in some months when I'm back in Japan so I can give a better representation of how to use one ;)
Changing the system language is impossible sadly enough. They're meant to be usee by Japanese people so manufacturers don't bother with putting other languages on.😅
@@VoylinsLife Oh my. Would you know if you can put the reading voice in Japanese? If not I'm not sure I can use it to learn Japanese. Thanks again for taking the time to answer.
@@IiOnna222 I wish there was an option for it. That's probably another reason I should have mentioned, but as a "Denshi Jisho" is meant for Japanese people to use it to learn/use/lookup english, there's no need for Japanese pronounciation. As a learner, this can be a disadvantage, but guessing the pronounciation will mostly be correct/understandable if read the furigana well. 😉
But if they are learning English, we don't need to learn Japanese. xD Just kidding. Don't get angry. :D But Yes. Our alphabet is great, easy and efficient. :)
Hahaha, well the younger generation is getting better and better at English, but still a long way to go. But honestly, for Japanese people living outside of like Osaka and Tokyo, I don't see that much reason why they should learn English anyway ^^"
they can be quite expwnsive, but sometimes you can find second hand ones which are in very good condition. But because of the high price, it becomes hard for me to recommend them 😅

I found one for 12 US dollars...a Casio Ex-word dataplus 4....
Today...I just got it as a hobby to learn and for that price..yeah...it's worth it
For that price it is indeed worth it 😲

Thank you for the video. I have been looking for one, but the prices can be very high like you said.

Do you know if you can change the system language from Japanese to English? Got the PW-G5200. Thanks.

Kore ikura desu ka...
二万円ぐらいですけど、プレゼントでした。^^" They can be quite expensive, and it you can not read Kanji yet, it will basically be quite difficult to use :s
wtf... these dictionaries are way more expensive than buying an actual PC...LOL

@@VoylinsLife yeah...i can see that... I would rather buy a smartphone or a pc instead... we have sites like kotobank in exchange of that...
lol types in ばか 😂
You are the first one that noticed I think XD
