Drew Brees @ #1 makes perfect sense. It's easy to forget now, but when the Saints were forced out of New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina, they played some home games in San Antonio and were strongly considering moving there. There's a decent chance New Orleans doesn't have a team anymore without him. That's where he gets the edge over Reggie White.

How is he above Charles Woodson is the real question. Tampa had one of the best offensive lines and receiving cores with a solid defense the first two years. Like putting up yardage for Brady is kind of dumb since he threw the most pass attempts in NFL history the last 2 years. With a ton of ring-chasing free agents added on.
Charles Woodson on the other hand had 38 Ints in the 7 seasons he was with the Packers. Which is more than most players get in their entire career. Locking down Calvin Johnson is no easy feat as well. I don’t remember if he won the super bowl with the Packers or not (I think so) but they had the same amount of rings over their free agent contracts then.
I’m pretty sure a few QBs would have done just as well as Brady did with the supporting cast he had. This is really just some dumb Brady bias he was only good for 2 seasons. Absolutely fell off last year with a weak division and it showed when they played the first game in the playoffs.

Honestly I would argue that Reggie White is just as important to the Packers as he was to the Eagles, and that he’s just as iconic to both teams.
People tend to forget that Green Bay was a dumpster fire for *20* years. We had Lynn Dickey, James Lofton, Coffman, even Majik Man, but Green Bay was perpetually in the basement.
Then we get Brett Favre in a trade, no big deal obviously, until Majik goes down, the rest, was history.
But even then, Green Bay was sort of turning the corner, on the rise, but as a quiet background thing. Then free agency hits for the first time.
I remember my Dad telling me that he daydreamed about getting Reggie, like a Lions fan daydreaming about what if prime Rodgers joined forces with Megatron.
    Only Reggie *actually* did it.
All of a sudden, Green Bay went from being a tiny backwater, to a tiny backwater, but one that became a hot spot for free agents. A young Favre lighting up the offense with arguably the greatest defensive player in NFL history on the other side?
    Sign me the hell up.
And for 30 years, Green Bay has been at worst a playoff contender. He and Favre *completely* changed Green Bay’s fortunes alongside Holmgreen, and in return Reggie got something he never had at any other point in his life.
    A championship.

It is laughable that Rodney Harrison is not in the top 3 and it is embarrassing that he isn't on the list at all. All time playoff interception leader with the Patriots. Big time picks in championship games and super bowl. 1st player in the 30 pick/30 sack club (only other person currently in this club is a guy called Ray Lewis). Whether it be HOF nominations or lists like this, the disrespect shown to man is shameful.

Rodney had a decent year after signing with NE but most of his production was with SD, his former team. He only got 9 of those sacks and 8 of those INTs with NE.

That was a trade, not a FA signing. Although it's definitely a Top 10 Trade of All Time I'll give you that.

Brady being #5 and not #1 is a joke lol. For everything he did in New England.. then to sign elsewhere and Win It All.
What a joke of an order this list is in lol
