*Best* :Leonard Floyd who had a sneaky good year with the Buff Bills recording 10.5 sacks *Worst* :Marcus Davenport who basically robbed the Vikings of $13M who was basically was injured most of the year.
I still think the Vikings should keep Davenport. Davenport played well in the short amount of time he played and 13 million for an edge rusher is pretty reasonable.
They shouldnt have paid him that to begin with. But dont wirry vikings fans, your new GM worked under Andrew Berry in CLE. and AB is. Rockstar GM. Why your new GM let Tomlinson abd Zsmith go and Danielle Hunters contract expire but thought way overpaying Davenport was a better idea? 1st year anythinh will make mistakes.
Andrew Berry in Cleveland rebuild the worst Dline in the league into one of the best in one offseason with limited cap space. Tomlinson, Obo Okoronkwo, Maurice Hurst and Shelby Harris all produced more than they were worth.
Don’t know why They did that Davenport signing if it was high-risk low reward. I don’t think anybody thought that was a good move and it was obvious to avoid
I understand the worst being Tremaine Edmunds from the Bears, but the disrespect by not acknowledging the best signing of T.J. Edwards to replace Roquan Smith is a crime. The Bears went out and signed, well, Roquan Smith but cheaper. How the hell is that NOT a best signing?
I'd rather have more PBUs and him being less of a coverage liability than INTs. He got more tackles from being targeted and was a bad tackler early in the season. He could definitely have had a worse season, but he could definitely be better. The Bears also could've had Roquan Smith.
@@sethrabin833 Sure, but it's not all about tackling. I still need to see year 2 for this signing. The Bears worst signing was probably Yannick Ngakoue as of right now.
Definitely missing tj edwards. Not only was he player top 5 in his position but also his contract and the fact the eagles linebacker room looked like they missed him alot
David Montgomery was a BEST move they ever made bringing him to Detroit to team up with Rookie Gibbs coming so close of going to the 1st super bowl together so let's hope they still will remain good but what an awesome season for the Lions 6:04
Thanks for the movie advice! I was gonna binge all the jaws movies with my small children before we go to the beach, but I guess we’ll watch the Hostel movies again 😢
Baker did alot for the browns, he for the most part finally gave our team a pulse after going 0-16 and so many terrible quarterbacks before him and that 2020 season was special
I'm hoping if Mayfield and Mike Evans build a excellent QB/WR Duo cause if it goes very well then Mayfield may win a super bowl trophy in the future 2:42
Best: TJ Edwards, he basically put up the same stats as Roquan smith who the Bears traded away and T.J. Edwards was paid less than Smith Worst: Miles Sanders, he was expected to do what he did in Philly but was just a product of that 2022 Phily offense where everyone did good in, he averaged 3.3 yards per carry while having 432 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdown in 16 games played
Question: Hypothetically, Do you think Serena and Venus Williams in their physical/athletic primes could have success playing high school football? Why or why not?
@@bowie1386 no they couldn’t. I play high school football and Serena and Venus could not hang with us. Let them try to meet me 1 on 1 in the hole and they’ll be on their backs, many others would put them there too
Joe Flacco. Plain and simple. Not only did he keep the Browns afloat but he also took us into the playoffs in a season that could have VERY easily gone off the rails. A late season signing, yes, but extremely helpful.
I agree remember how many people were freaking out that we traded Josh Dobbs and didn't trade for him at the deadline, the Flacco move ended up working out instead
In fairness, no receiver could have been successful in New England in 2023. Nobody had time to get separation and the quarterbacks had no time to go through their reads to find a receiver.
Insane to put Edmunds as one of the worst. Dude had over 100 tackles and 4 INTs. Dude was good this year. Not excellent, but good. It’s WAY worse signings this year than Edmunds. Like Allen Lazard for example. Also should have added Edwards to the “best” category. Dude was elite this year.
The Bengals signing Irv Smith, Jr. was a big swing and a miss. Thankfully that was for only one year. Also, the Bengals signing Nick Scott to a 3-year deal to replace Jessie Bates III was even a bigger swing and a miss. Smith was hardly ever on the field due to injury and when he was on the field, he was a non-factor. The backup TEs for the Bengals all had a better year. As for Scott, he lost his starting job early in the season due to poor play. Rookie Safety Jordan Battle took over the job and performed quite well for a 3rd round rookie. I expect the Bengals not to sign Smith again, even on the cheap for one year and they could cut Scott out right (don't know what the cap hit would be if they cut him.)
Carr played much better towards the 2nd half of the season and tbh for his first season at a new team after being in Vegas/oakland for so long he did solid, people hate on him because they expect him to magically be elite with a old washed Oc who should of never got the play calling duties to begin with. This is coming from a die hard saints fan to I wanted him gone and for us to just do what the colts did last year but then he started actually finding his targets and making good reads. He isn’t the future but if we get a young hungry play caller he’ll do the job for however long we need him to whether that just be next year or longer.
The thing that is more of a joke is the contract he got but that’s out of his control really that’s just mickey and DA being stupid, he should of gotten paid way less
Orlando brown was worse than taylor. Taylor also allowed the most time to pass without pressure. So what, he had 20 penalties but also allowed mahomes to have so much time to throw. Also mahomes almost always scrambled right and he held it down amazingly.
Question, when was Orlando Brown Jr. an all-pro? There's a reason the Chiefs let him walk after he turned down their offer a year before...... TPS being clowns, again.
Jawaan Taylor is still better than Orlando Brown, Jr. It helped that Taylor was an RT and we signed Donovan Smith to be the LT. Smith was an upgrade over Brown.
I think some players are given way too many excuses than others, and I don’t think they should have an excuse but all the players need to be held to the same standard as far as them controlling what they can control.
Whoever wrote this does not know much about football, If they believed the bucs "Built the team around Baker Mayfield".. that line made me stop watching.
Think there was definitely worse signings than Edmunds. Been a disappointment but he was on the field, made ints and tackles. He isn't a coverage lb. He is a tackler.
I don't think that Carr signing was bad, he shows glimpses of great playing at the end of a season, if he's keep up with that type of performances in the upcoming season NOLA will be good. I hope new OC will help him to plays his best.
Yeah. He was injured so much during the season. I feel like he would've done a lot better. HOWEVER, for the amount of money he was making off his contract, he was bad.
He is unnecessarily hated. Think of how bad the raiders were when he was there. He constantly had new coaches and coordinators and terrible defenses. People who act like he was the problem are casuals. He was never elite but he was pretty good for the most part. He's past his prime now and still had a solid season on mediocre team with a not so great o line.
@joeblue4170 He's had enough time to show what he can do. Had weapons his whole career (Amari, Waller, Davante, Olave) and never accomplished anything noteworthy. Even AB didn't want to play with him. Just not a qb who can lead a team to success.
