Hey Guil! Thanks for the studio tour. I really need to clear up some floor real estate. Just when I didn't think I needed anything on Prime Day. . . Auto Pole to the rescue. Thanks!
Hey Guil! Great video! I like how you paired the video with the graphics. Nice touch. Where did you get your SM7B pop filter from? I love that color tone of the blue!
Hey thank you so much! I got the video clips from www.pexels.com/ free stock footage, just donate if you can and I got the blue pop filter from www.reporterstore.com it does look like the site is down at the moment though
Well done. Questions: 1/ When you record, where are your headphones plugged in to monitor the show? The ATEM, or the Rodecaster? 2/ Is the SSD on the ATEM the only place you are recording video and sound? Thank you for a great resource.
Hey! Thanks for the comment and questions! So I plug my headphones into the Atem to make sure we have a signal. In addition to the SSD into the Atem I use Ecamm Live on my mac to record both audio and video!
Awesome video! I have a similar setup. I’m wondering if you have thoughts between the atem mini and the atem extreme. There is a big price difference. For this type of setup why would you choose one over the other?
Hey thanks, I’d love to see your setup. Also, Fantastic question! I own a mini base model and an extreme. The EX has ISO functionality which makes producing a podcast easier. Yes they do make a mini that has iso and that would work for this setup but I just love having as many HDMI in ports as possible. Recently for a client project I needed 5 cameras and I was ready for it.
Guil thanks for the nuggets you dropped. I'm using an auto pole/varipole as well but vertically mounted. How do you mount it horizontal in a safe manner so that no clients are injured?
Hey, I really appreciate that comment but to answer your question I have my Autopole set in a way that if it were to fall the crown molding of my house will be able to catch it and it’s pretty much a failsafe! I have had it in my studio for about 3 to 4 years and have had no problems of it falling down. The only issues I can say that I have is that it leaves marks on my walls no matter if I use the protective rubber mats that comes with it. I just have to repaint it if I ever were to remove the autopole from the wall.
What's your room size sir? Also like to point out that the new RCP 2 version includes much higher power so you don't need to purchase those Cloud Lifters to feed the Shure Mic. I myself will stick to the younger brother the Shure MV7 and instead of using a Rodecaster I'll be purchasing the new DJI Mic 2 and just connect it straight into the Mic. This also works with the big brother Shure Mic your using. I guess the new DJI Mic 2 have this 32 something tech that provide all the power needed even for those energy hungry mics and plus they basically become wireless meaning you don't need to run a long Aux cable back to your RCP but the audio not only gets saved on the DJI Mic but also unto the receiver.
Great video, Guil! I like how everything is so versatile!
Thank you so much! Version 2.0.4

Great video. I have one question about hanging the camera from the varipole. What are you using as the vertical piece? How is that attached?
@@gabeandcamthomas455 hey, thank you. So right now I am using an Elgato Master mount and it is fastened to a camera cage

Great minds think alike. I was thinking about getting the new DJI mics when clients want a “micless” podcast look.
I’ve used a Rode wireless go 2 for a wireless setup but it doesn’t have 32bit float which is great when people get too loud
Good stuff
Hey! Glad you enjoyed
Awesome
Hey thanks!
Hey what’s the cord brand that comes out the rode mixer to the atem ? It’s not in description
Hey it’s Tisino or Yumiwoow. These two brands work great and I never had any issues with them.

@@GuilDormeus thanks for that Excel spreadsheet. That's a blessing. What's the best video switcher?
@J-Dawg-1 no problem. The best is hard to narrow down but you can’t go wrong with the Atem mini pro ISO
The Audio cable link😊
