I can't imagine playing the Bruch concerto at 11 years old.
Ling Ling played it as a fetus

Long ago, when Ray still had a trace of his Australian accent.
Not much at all 😅sad
Ray Chen is an amazing violinist and human being.
ugh, so lucky to play at the nobel prize concert AND carnegie hall
Amazing, beautiful, wonderful...
What a treat!
@wikct2 Well you clearly have absolutely no clue about the current situation between China and Taiwan. I am Taiwanese myself and I will admit that ethnically we share the same roots as the Chinese and that our culture and heritage is Chinese yet our nationality isn't. There's a difference between ethnicity and nationality. Taiwan and China are two separate countries. Telling a Taiwanese person to admit being Chinese is like telling a Caucasian American to admit being British. Which is just strictly non-sense. The majority of the Taiwanese population are descendants of Chinese immigrants who sailed across the Taiwan Strait from the mainland in the 17th and 18th century. Our blood and DNA may be of similar origin, but we are two separate nations.

Cool it wikct2. Until China gives Taiwan independence and does not claim Taiwan as part of China , the Taiwanese have every right to be proud of being
Taiwanese .If this does not happen, China may lose excellent musicians, artistes,
scientists etc. Ray Chen is an excellent violinist ..and he has a brilliant future.... regardless of his nationality.
He is Taiwanese~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~-3333333
First chord of the bruch 3rd movement was awfully flat, the rest was good though, and the minor fact that he says concertOS instead of ConcertI
Concertos is an alternate plural form of concerto along with concerti...
