please check for computer reset this might solve the problem, but before resetting save all your data to another computer as all data gets deleted from the computer
Says uninstallation failed and status bar never turned green. Seems like McAfee wants to stay on your computer. I uninstalled it last year now I did a factory reset and need to remove it again They needed to be sued and horsewhipped.

I had to use the live chat thing and the "agent" that sent the program that finally removed the McAfee antivirus exe called from a number that showed "health first" on the caller id. When you call the number back, they ask for your full social security and they aren't able give any evidence that they're a real company. So McAfee got removed and my computer works like it used to but I'm afraid to connect it to the internet until I'm able to completely wipe that version of windows and reinstall. Not sure if I'm in a better position or not but I'm pretty sure they got some sinister shit onto my computer. Any recommendations on where to go from here? Edit- I forgot to mention my computer has never connected to the internet since I had to run that program he sent. It's been turned off in airplane mode ever since.

On my laptop i dont even have mcaffe dowloaded but theres like 9 mcaffe things running on the task manager and it also doesn't let me stop it

2- perform a computer reset and delete all files from computer this shoul;d work
