The guy who plays Ali is just like him. When they were asked which scene was the hardest to film, everyone pointed the most physically challenging one, while Ali's actor pointed out the most emotional one. He's such a sweetheart.
And the fact his fave character was Sangwoo was his favorite character

The guy that played Deok-Su is unrecognisable! He seems like a kind, well adjusted, humble man. For him to play such a greedy, evil and vindictive bastard with such authenticity and commitment, shows what a brilliant actor he truly is.
And he loves cats as well.

What is interesting to me, is the actor of Ali. Everyone keep praising how well he acted in Korean, and I totally agree. But his Korean level in reality is waaay beyond the Korean level of his character.

I honestly love how genuine all these actors are. They all seem like good people. Maybe it’s the Korean culture but none of them seem to have the American cockiness that a lot of American actors have. They all seem like legitimately nice people and fun to be around.
HoYeon Jung especially, she seems like she’s extremely popular as a model/actress but she’s not stuck up at all. And seems like a genuinely fun person.

Miss Kim Joo-Ryoung's character doesn't even have a back story, but she did a great job, I like her character so much, so much energy and color
I felt so deprived that we didn't get any character develepmonet for her beyond the one episode she was in. She is a really brilliant shining actor.
its wild how much of an impact she makes in such a short amount of time. In an already packed episode, their story together was probably one of the most compelling while not having nearly as much development as the other relationships.

Seeing them like this makes me realize how good of actors they really are
Some of the actors seemed annoyed when they mentioned how much people talk about the Squid Games and some seems really excited as this must have been the biggest break despite their other careers. Yet one thing they all are excited talking about is how close they were as cast members and how much they enjoyed working with each other. Its amazing because they really are all truly humble yet some of the best acting I've seen on Netflix aside from Ratchet. And to think this was suppose to be a movie idea and he was turned down so many times yet if you think about it the show would definitely not have been the same without these amazing actors and actresses.

@@royslapped4463 it's called plastic surgery, 4 out 6 in that video have had stuff done, HoYeon and Ha-Jun being the most obvious ones. It doesn't have to do with genetics, it has to do with Korean culture and its toxic beauty standards.
I am so proud that I pretty much watched/knew all of the actors in the show besides Jung Ho Yeon who never really acted before. And yeah, the cast were all great and all exceeded my already high expectations. Love to see a lot of the supporting cast here and get the love they deserve
