New to your channel! I found you while grieving over the loss of the original Aussie Freeze… 😢 I also loved the Aussie Freeze Mousse which has changed, too (but is tolerable). I did email Aussie customer service to tell them how Freeze was a game changer for my super fine, thin hair & now… I could just cry! Thanks so much for hunting down our next favorite freeze. Keep up the good work 😊
I felt just the same. At 5am this morning I ask my husband "wonder if there are other Instant Freeze ladies on the edge of crying"? Thanks for answering that concern 😢
Same for me finding this channel while on the edge grieving after opening two twin packs, finding them all the same and realizing it must have changed. All these tests will help me hunt tomorrow for my replacement. I so appreciate all the points. Smell and feel are big for me.
Sharalee, your face says it all in this video. Thank you for being the guinea pig for all of us while you try to find a new hairspray. I recently switched hairsprays myself and cannot recommend Calista Embellish Finishing Spray enough. It is a little more expensive but a little goes a long ways. It will give you all day hold even in the rainy weather we've been having in Southern California. At the end of the day it brushes out and there is no residue. Your hair never feels sticky or way down either. As an avid Enjoy Dry Wax user, thanks to your recommendation, I even use less Enjoy Dry Wax with the Embellish Finishing Spray from Calista. Thanks again for another wonderful video. Have a blessed week!
@@Kathy-zx5bu I started using the Bed Head Hard Head Extreme Hold & with the Enjoy it works great! I found it at TJ Maxx & was standing in an aisle looking up a Sharalee video to see if it was the one she recommended, lol!😂 I was fortunate to find it for $10!😳 Thankfully I don't use much at time so it should last a while! Thanks for the heads-up on the PM hairspray!☺️
Hi Sharalee, just wanted to tell you that I’ve got the LOreal Lock It spray and the first ingredient is alcohol denate. I haven’t used it in a while so I don’t know if it’s as good as the Aussie Instant Freeze spray, I can’t remember. I’m trying to use my Aussie very sparingly as when I look at any of them at the stores I go into the original spray is all gone and I’m even going to the very back of the line of cans, hoping I can find one, lol. Thank you for these forays into trying all these hairsprays for us, it’s really appreciated. 😊
Thanks for doing these reviews! I have tried the got2b and it was not the worst but needed more stick as it left my hair soft. I like a little crunch to it. Sure miss my old Aussie I had been using it since high school.
Great, I'm an Aussie girl. Love the shampoo, I use the freeze gel, sculpting, right after I wash my hair, then I use the freeze hairspray like you showed! I have loved their products for years, I'm 68.my 2 girls and I used these since they were teenagers, they're 40.Always had a good scent to!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏
Oh my, I feel your pain. I have watched you style your hair so many times that I can actually see as you style & spray that the hair is not responding in the usual way. Still looks beautiful, but I totally understand the frustration of doing the routine technique and not getting the result that you have always gotten. The "right product" fit is magical 🎇
I would give anything to find me a hair stylist that could cut my hair this way. I absolutely love your hair. You are so beautiful.. I’m loving your products that you recommend.. Thank you for giving me the link for the wax and how to use it…
I agree! I used to love the Aussie and ended up returning the last bottle I bought because of formula change. I love the Loreal Lock It, weather control spray. Nice firm dry hold, which I prefer
I have such fine thin hair, the new can of Mega about blows my hair right off my head. My daughter told me to try the Sebastian Shaper. She said it was more like a mist. I am very sensitive to different smells. We shall see. Absolutely love your hair.💕
It’s always a trifecta for me … some shampoos and conditioners work better with some pomades and then those work better with some hairsprays! I could start a store with all the products I try … always looking for the holy grail. We all love what you recommend and try . It’s candy for us pixies! ❤
Thank you for doing these tests,Sharalee. So far I like the Freeze It the best, although the sprayer on it isn’t the greatest. At least it holds, doesn’t feel terrible and has a pleasant scent. I bet I have a giant list of much loved beauty products that have been reformulated or discontinued. I always write the manufacturer and complain and they never seem to listen.
Short blond fine hair person here who has been using got2b Glue Blasting Freeze Hairspray for quite some time, and have never had that "dirty hair" feeling. If you're getting that, maybe it has to do with the other two products you're using on your hair before blow drying in combination with the got2b? Also, direction spraying in a small area is achievable if you use short blasts with the can closer to your head. This stuff holds for me in hot, humid weather, brushes out easily, and actually leaves my hair feeling soft, not dirty.
I think I should maybe go ahead and try a different spray. I agree that the tresemme doesn’t hold for a long time. And I use ALOT. I’m excited to see the rest of your trials!
Hi Sharalee, I had to find a dupe for my beloved Kerastase Laque Noir which was discontinued. The best dupe I have found so far is Chi Helmet Head. The scent isn’t bad either.
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Kenra 25 is the one I really love but have had nothing but nozzle issues with every can I have bought, full size and travel. I only have purchased from Ulta, I don’t know why it would matter but I might try once more from Kenra directly. 🤷🏻♀️
Not sure if you have this one on the list yet, but Bed Head master piece extra stronghold with massive shine..... This may be the best one I've found so far! And I was a loyal Aussie girl with a pixie!
Back in the day my favorite 'big hair' hairspray was Vavoom by Matrix. My favorite, most repurchased drugstore one is Garnier in the green can. Love the light fruity smell too, and am usually sensitive to scents.
With the got2b you have to spray an hold the hair for a second. I have my hair cut like yours I wear it in a Mohawk all the time an have for years and this is the only thing I have found that will hold my hair in the style I want and can even sleep in the style for days without having to restyle or wash my hair!
I heard L’Oréal Lock It hairspray holds well. I use Sebastian Shaper Fierce, but my hair is a longer length so I’m not looking for a freeze hold. I’m on a drugstore hairspray journey, but have I’m a not finding anything that I like.

Sharalee the hairspray I use to use has been changed and it is awful so after many trials I switched to Kendra 25 it works great it is a little pricey but worth it😊

I've bought both of these as well. The Treseme just doesn't hold long and you have to spray A LOT of spray. It will hold if you put a ton of spray on, but after a couple of hours, it's gone. I didn't think the Glued did much at all. I tried layering them together and got an okay result, but nothing good.

I was using Tresemme extra hold #4 for well over 15 years for only my bangs abs it worked great then they changed the formula adding water and it's horrible I still looking for something as good as the old formula of Tresemme

I’ve uses both of those. Not a huge fan of either. Currently using the got2b because it was cheaper at my Walmart. I don’t have a favorite. Will keep watching your videos in hopes of finding one.
I wonder if you might like Paul Mitchell Invisiblewear Undone texture hairspray. I use it more at my roots. SD Alcohol is the 2nd ingredient. Your hair videos are my favorite. Thanks
I just came across Color Wow Raise the Root thickening and hair spray. Have you tried this? I haven't, but would love your thoughts on this product. Says it works wet or dry (?). Thank you as always for the information you give!
I'm loving the Generic Value Products version of Kenra Dry texture spray! Smells good, dries fast, gives texture and volume. It can replace texture paste/wax + hairspray combo. I was tempted to try got2be but I think I'll pass now 😊

I'll go through that can and see how it goes but I am very anal about the wind messing up my hair and humidity flattening my hair so that will be the ultimate test to me. And I agree with other people maybe the wax I can see it being a wax deflecting hairspray effectiveness. I watched your other video with The bedhead being your favorite, but I can't justify over double the cost of got2beglued.
I used to use Joyco Ice Mist, which was really good but I don’t see it anymore. Honestly, I’ve tried many and can’t find any that hold. The Aussie never held my hair either.
I use Treseme hairspray but i use the pump one it holds really well but it would be too wet for your taste? But I need the wet to get mine hair to stay lol like you I don’t like the one in the can they did come out with some a new one
Sharalee I’m still laughing. 🤣🤣. You cracked me up about the Got2b hairspray. Just from your trial it gets a yuk from me ha ha ha. Tresemme seemed fair I am really liking the IT hairspray holds my style well and doesn’t stay wet So far IT is a winner for me. 😍
Does anyone know a hairspray or freeze spray that won’t turn my white hair yellow. I’ve been using Silver shine and now Sally s discontinued it😆 Love my white hair but turn yellow when I style It
Check out L'ange products. Best yet! They have a HERO GENTLEMEN'S POMADE that works for me much better than enjoy dry wax. My hair is super thick and coarse. Enjoy makes mine feel dirty and I do not like the smell of it. L'ange also has a hairspray called TROIS CHIC THREEWAY SPRAY. It is aerosol but you can choose from 3 spray settings. I have found them to be the best products ever. I have tried enough products to start a shop. L'ange works! Sharalee, you are just blessed with great hair and an amazing stylist that knows exactly what to do. All of us are not that fortunate. Yours always looks great!
I don't use any of those sprays. J C Penny has more organic one( can't remember name) but no drying out, no spray nozzle clogs and no flaking. My hair is fine, silky and thinner texture so any of these "mega freezer" type sprays are a no for me. Always great content Sharalee.
Thank you for addressing the spray mechanism clogging. I’ll try that one. I don’t care for Tresemme, either, but the spray mechanism does not clog if I don’t use it for a day or so.

yer right! new aussie is crappy. i been using IT hairspray meantime. works okay.
I have used their styling mouse and it did the same thing. I itched constantly.
Have you tried Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine? It holds very well for me.
I used to use that one also! Not bad and decent price!
I feel like I have but can't remember...adding it to the list😍
Your hair looked cute before you even started! Thanks for testing all these products. Love your eye look today as well!
Can you do a shampoo demo please?
I use Treseme hairspray but i use the pump one it holds really well but it would be too wet for your taste? But I need the wet to get mine hair to stay lol like you I don’t like the one in the can they did come out with some a new one
Have you tried Chi Helmet head? It works very well for me.
No, but I'm putting it on the list!😘
Sharalee I’m still laughing. 🤣🤣. You cracked me up about the Got2b hairspray. Just from your trial it gets a yuk from me ha ha ha. Tresemme seemed fair I am really liking the IT hairspray holds my style well and doesn’t stay wet So far IT is a winner for me. 😍
Does anyone know a hairspray or freeze spray that won’t turn my white hair yellow. I’ve been using Silver shine and now Sally s discontinued it😆 Love my white hair but turn yellow when I style
It
Can you tell me how to use the wax. I can’t seem to get it on my hands.
Oh yes! I have a video on that...I'll link it here😘

thank you for this video my friend😀😀😀
Is there an affordable option to the Enjoy dry wax?
Not one that I've found yet😍 The good thing is, you need very little product so it lasts a long time!
That got 2 be glued stuff maked my head itchy 😫! I don't like the smell of that other one either.
So it wasn't just me?! I was going crazy, itching my scalp all day!😅
Does Enjoy make a hair spray?
I just looked and they do!😄 But the reviews say it stays somewhat flexible and not all day hold...too bad!
Love got2b!
Ok, I will go check them out right away! Thanks for the recommendations😍 And you're right, my stylist is amazing!!
You're right, the new formula does not hold at all!
I use got2b glued for years. It's all I use. Not good for fine hair tho.
Where in USA it you locaition I live in Garfield new jersey please I what to cort my heart❤🌹

Hello beautiful Sharalee 😍
Ciao Sharalees, sei Bellissima! Complimenti 💐
Hola, haz un vídeo en español
Sharalee, have u ever tried big sexy spray and play? I know it’s expensive but it really holds
Was gonna mention this one as well. It’s my favorite right now! Really holds well
I haven't but guess it needs to go on the list!😘
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates I love it because it allows you the set your hair in the direction you want then it sets in place.
I also tried Tressome. It is terrible.
Oh glad it wasn't just me😂😘
I do like the It Freezing Hold that you tested, but it’s funny how people have different favs. I have very thick hair, but Tresemme is my all time fav. Thank you for all you do‼️ You always look great‼️
That got2b is hard to wash out I find. I'm not a fan of either of those.
I’ve tried that one and I didn’t like it..
My bathroom is covered in Tressemme hairspray. It's awful.
YES!! I got done filming and my entire counter was covered! Never happened with the old Aussie😉
Got2b glued ***High Instahold! ***.
**Not **blasting freeze spray 😁
😂😂😘
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates 🤪
if you have a Big Lots store in your city, they carry the Aussie original formula in double packs. You know I took them all in my store ;)
I'm here because I also dont like the scent of Tresseme. I'm searching for my husbands fine hair that holds all day and smells good.
I think the Tresemme smells like bug spray! It's awful.
Yes!!! Oh my goodness😷
