I totally forgot this was a slideshow the storytelling was so good. I like photography myself and I was wondering what camera did you use for these photos.
My mother just passed away and I have every scrapbook she made, every photo album, a paper box full of unscrapped photos, and an external full of over 1,000 photos. She made sure to photograph every aspect of our lives for thay very reason. I'll never be short of memories or perfect captured moments because of her doing that. :)
@Artemis87. I appreciate it, hon. It hurts but...yet it doesn't. She and I were best friends first and mother/daughter second, so we said and did everything that needed said and done. We had a solid and wild relationship so I don't feel like I'm grieving the loss of something I never had, because boy did I get lucky with a mom that gave me (and was) everything. :)

You're right, this style with pictures only is different in a good way. If anything, I feel like my mind made each picture move despite them being still. Carpinteria brings so many memories to those of us who have followed you for years. I particularly remember the trip in 2015. The way you smashed yourself against the wall playing with that electric skateboard. Fun times. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, that was August 6th, 2015, so it's gonna be 9 years ago in 2 days. Anywho, love to see you all having fun and enjoying your trip. Love to see Sam as well (she's back!). I'm glad I found a little bit of time to watch this video before it's weeks or months old.
As a photographer, I absolutely love this video. Pictures capture such a rare moment in time. I am a sports, events, family, and couples photographer and with each of these widely different types of photography I have found that it’s all about capturing memories for a person to look back on and love and hold on to during a hardship. My business slogan is: Capturing memories so you never forget. And that’s what photography is all about. Capturing a memory so it is there for future generations to look at and enjoy!

ive been growing up with matt and amanda for as long as i can remember. i remember their engagement, first time we heard about them having a baby, and now im turning 18 and still keep up with their little family. i feel like ive grown with this family and i have seen what family could be. i know that i deserve nothing less then a happy family like yours and i aspire to give my future family these kinds of experiences. from a long time viewer, thank you for being there for me growing up

Hi Matt I’m glad your posting more often I know project 863 is over and I know you probably don’t want anything else to do with 863 sense like you said it was a time filled with terror and stress and sadly Deb again sorry for your loss but I’ve had this theory not not really a theory but I know why your blood was in location 7 do you remember when you or “Nelson” got taken into a quarantine room the 2 guys there gave you (Nelson) a shot or something like that I think it was a blood draw and woods did say the 2 mask there look like the guys that took you or when you were in the hospital the doctor said you have a lot of radiation in your body and they look at your blood here so where gonna send it o someone who can did he send it to location 7 or did somebody who works at syntec steal it like B27 or dose he work for syntec or was he under the influence of Nelson and idk why you guys didn’t show Scott the video of woods and Sam he probably could of explained more I hope you’ll read this and cute adventure with your family❤️

This may come off as a little insensitive but I just want to know more about the massive world of project 863 I honestly spent four years following it and rewatching it trying to out any little things that you might have missed in videos as they came out and I’ve got to say,well done for creating this amazing project that has kept so many people on the edge and if I’m honest it’s more entertaining than most movies these days 😂
Oooh, what camera is that. Recently my grandfather gave me some of his old cameras. The best looking one is an old Kodak, so I’m hoping towards the fall I can get some 35mm film and take some picks

I (as a teenager figuring out what he wants to do in life) have such a fascination with photography in amongst a daily life and how, as you said, the resulting photos seem more accurate to the the memory of the moment and videos like this really prove that.
