Parents that show eachotber affection that's not...basically being groped. And parents speaking love into thier children. Idk just makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
Matt love these vlogs so far. I love the raw footage of just spending time with fam and just talking about things you are going through. With anger and frustration comes joy because they both can’t take away your joy of your day. Gods joy in your heart can never be ridden of ever.
I really like how these videos are shot. The editing cuts and framing of the camera views are very aesthetically pleasing. And your family is so cute! And Luna playing "All is Found" on the piano! Thank you for sharing these precious moments with us! And say what you want about pulling off the lens cover panels, but it was satisfying to watch. Looked kinda fun, honestly. I just want to say, thank you. Thank you for showing and constantly working on being a good dad! As someone who didn’t have a present father it’s warming to see someone who isn’t perfect at it, but is actively trying. Who is genuinely in love with his kids and showing them God. I would offer to send a few over to see if you can ID them but then you could look on local gem mining locations as it is a fun family outing to do. I'm not sure how many is in your state but there's a ton where I live.

If possible could you use your windows computer and use a USB external hard drive and just move the USB cord. Idk how your files are set up but it sounds like a temporary fix. It’s what I have done without Dropbox
I love the look and feel of these videos. Excellent. Tell Luna keep looking at rocks! I'm an adult and I still do it. My daughter did that as a little one and she just loves and appreciated nature now because of it. And OMG the conversation you had with Amanda of organizing your office. It was like dejavu for me. My hubby is just like you with that stuff. But after 19 years of marriage and conversations like you just had I've finally trained him better. And there are plant containers with reservoirs so that you can water them like once a week, well Amanda can water them once a week. LOL If you want real plants in your office that may be the way to go. Also look for house plants that are tolerant to neglect, they are out there.

Late to the party. Had things all day today. Feeling like you’ve wasted time is one of the worst things. It frustrates me so much Hot take for a second: something that I realized was interesting-something that is making these vlogs different from the previous ones is that it doesn’t feel as much like you are trying as hard to tell me a story. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE stories and storytelling and finding the story in things. And as much as I enjoyed the vlogs on the Overkill channel, I’m not sure how to articulate it exactly, but it almost felt like you were rushing to find/make a story to tell in each vlog. “How can I make what I’m doing into a story to tell?” It was like each vlog needed to be a wrapped up story bite. Or little story chunks. But this, this is different. Instead of “searching for the story” and trying to format it into a vlog for the channel, you’re just being. Telling us what you want to and what’s interesting to you-ie a story. I mean, multiple people could tell the exact same story loads of different ways because different aspects are more important to different people. People live in stories. Our lives are stories. Your life is a story. And by just sharing and filming what you want and think is fun, exciting or important to you vs trying to plan out and think ahead, idk it feels better to me. I like the pacing better. I mean, not everyone is going to like it. We all have different tastes and that’s okay. But that’s not really what it’s about. You said the vlogs are for you. I can feel that in these. I think that’s what it boils down to actually. Previous vlogs felt like they were for us, these feel like they are for you. Yeah. I’m not saying previous stuff was bad at all. This just seems better to me. So yeah, there’s my hot take. Just something that I found myself thinking while watching this at midnight. Apologies for my long windedness. Peace, brother.
For sure, you area 100% right. Finding the balance is difficult sometimes. Important to note though that most people arent interested in content like this, they like the stuff on the overkill channel, this is evident from the 70% retention of those videos vs the 40-50% of these. but I dont have to worry about that over here since Im not doing this for monetary gain.
Matt I would recommend that you consider getting a home server or a nas. The reason being its it works on multiple os' and it means you don't have to rely on online storage which means you don't risk losing any data

Generally, this kind of equipment runs on Linux, so you wouldn't have any issues synchronizing files like this one with the Mac, and you'd still be able to edit from it on any platform.
