    In 2018, my mother passed away 3 days before my high school graduation and for a year went through horrible depression and I had no one who helped me find me peace until one day I watched Joeys video when he got baptized. This was when he had his own channel and there was this other video where he was talking about Jesus and those videos changed my life forever.
    There were multiple of moments where Bible verses would pop up in tv shows and I’d just look them up but not study them. 2019 I accepted the christ and I never looked back. So thank Joey for me please!

    My coming to Christ story happen only few years ago. I’m born and raised Catholic. What I knew about the church I didn’t know until I was freshmen in high school. The Christ I knew was the only view for little kids. I entered freshmen year and my theology manipulates me into a Christ I didn’t know. I was bullied into believing into Christ that wasn’t mine it hurt a lot. I fell into deep deep depression because I felt loss. When I was sophomore I had the same theology the next year but my heart was stronger I just kicked out manipulation. Fast forward to a year in half ago in June 8th I had open heart surgery. I terrified and Jesus showed himself to me in differcult times. He told me how he wanted to love me despite my broken heart. I don’t know have as strong as relationship with god because I haven’t let him fully into my heart. The reason because of trauma from the surgery I don’t know how to open my “new heart up to Christ” because the heart I used I loved a different Christ. It road that’ll take time but I’m working on it

      I don’t quite know what you are struggling with in your walk, but I do know what I see often. So forgive me if I assume wrong. Often I see people struggle with their faith because they’ve messed up, sinned, or made mistakes. So they feel worthless and inadequate and unworthy of being a Christian and following Christ. The truth is, you already weren’t worthy of being a Christian or following Christ. THATS the reason why we started following! The minute you have to be perfect in order to follow Christ, you wouldn’t need Christ (because you’d be perfect). So dust yourself off, pick yourself up, and remember you will be imperfect till you die, *but it doesn’t matter* because when God sees you, He sees Christ in your place. God is satisfied with you *now*. If you’ve accepted Christ, you are a *new creation*. Stop believing the lies that tell you anything else. God gave you a new heart, and that heart is pure and that heart loves Jesus. You can’t do a single thing positive or negative to change how much God loves you if you’ve accepted Jesus.
      God bless you my friend. I pray this moves you to truth, eternal security and hope.

    Not to invalidate this and not to get off topic but religion aside, what do people do when they have everything but still feel empty? Is that always a guarantee? Is it medical? Can it be cured through other means, what does this imply about a person. This is kinda a fascinating topic that I don’t want to discuss *here* if that makes sense. I just don’t want to step on anyone’s toes.

    • @doodlenoggin
      @doodlenoggin Год назад +2

      short answer: they try to fill the void with worldly things. but that doesn't work bc worldly things are temporary, they fade, and soon they become numb no matter how much you feed off of them. When sin entered the world, (religion or not, we know what things are wrong, we know sin exists) it created a divide between the creator and the created. that emptyness is our separation from God. and a lot of people don't want to come to terms with that bc you do have to give up the sinful things in your life, you do have to surrender your heart and beliefs to God, and its hard. but the reward is so worth it. speaking from experience. I had an amazing family, all the friends, toys, food, home, a great life when I was a young kid. but I was depressed, hopeless. I tried filling that void with people, hobbies, anything to distract me. But I wasn't filling myself, I was digging my grave or building my own prison with me in it. it took a wakeup call from a leader, for me to realize I will never gain happiness if I don't change. so I did and it was the best decision repenting and accepting Jesus. Does filling the void with earthly things make you a bad person? in my eyes, I see that as a lost person. someone who needs help and needs to be treated with compassion. is it medical? no, its a heart matter on a spiritual level. though it can have physical effects (depression, anxiety) can it be cured? only through the grace of God and choosing to follow him. what does this imply about the person? that they are lost, and there is hope through the word of God. its a great topic and I'm happy to discuss it further!

      One thing to add, humans were created to worship God so when we don’t do that a part of it will always be missing cuz we’re not doing the main purpose of our existence. We were made to be companions with God.

    I like the math example of it. Unfortunately, math says you worship 3 gods because 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.
    Same thing you said but change it with Christians saying 1 + 1 + 1 = 1.
    Look into the only monotheistic religion, which is Islam. One God. Preserved scriptures. Peace of mind.

    Hi! I just want to say great video, but as a satanist (dont judge. Read the seven tenets of satan before you say anything) and an athiest it kinda feels mean to use the 2+2=4 explanation for people with other beliefs. Its kinda like saying that christianity is the only "true" religion. I just want to know your opinion on this question; do you think that its okay for people to believe whatever they want AS LONG as they dont hurt anything or anyone? And its not my intention for this to sound rude in any way. I find religion and beliefs extremely interesting, so i dont want to offend anyone.
    And sorry for my bad spelling, im swedish and autocorrect really hates me lmao.
    Have a good day and stay safe!

    • @doodlenoggin
      @doodlenoggin Год назад

      hey friend! no judgement here, I'm a Christian and we both have our beliefs and its not my place to judge! I just want to elaborate on your questions bc you are asking and someone needs to answer to make sure you are seen and heard bc you are just as important as the rest of the comments. religion aside, there are two things in this world: right and wrong. we knows this from a very young age, its nothing new. Whats amazing when God created humans was He gave us the ability to choose from right and wrong. we have a choice. what we do with those choices reap consequences, good or bad. People are given the choice to believe whatever they want. God allows us to make our choices. But is it okay to believe whatever you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone? well can you believe in what you want? yes. no one can control your beliefs. will it hurt anything or anyone? it will hurt yourself and your soul. We were designed to be with God. but when sin entered the world, a divide was formed. seperated. with that separation, part of us was taken. the void many people feel in themselves, that's the void where God once was. but because of our decisions, we are seperated. but through the Cross there is hope. people can choose to follow their own beliefs, but really the only true thing they will hurt in the end is themselves. because they try to fill that void with things, people, food, whatever. but in the end, its their prison. its where depression, anxiety, hopelessness, emptyness run wild. its why we spiral, prisoners in our own minds. we try to fill a void designed to befilled with God. but when we choose to repent, Follow God and his teachings, that void is filled. we feel whole because we are connected. that's not saying you wont face hardship, difficulty, or dangers. God uses those moments to guide you and remind you who you depend on.
      I am more than happy to discuss this further and I'm totally open to hear your questions! you wont offend me, its time we stop shunning people because they have different beliefs and time to start understanding one another and communicating! so ask away!

    • @Hi_Im_Lee

      @@doodlenoggin May i ask what you mean with that there is only ”right and wrong”? What about opinions? Are opinions right and wrong? Cause if that was the case, then it defeats the entire definition of opinion. Opinion and beliefs are kinda similar, many people might share an opinion/belief, some people think that some opinions/beliefs are crazy, but EVERYONE has a right to have their own opinion/belief in my opinion. I fully accept you for your beliefs, and im very happy that you have found a way to express it and live by it, but i still dont think its very okay to say stuff like ”God will save you” ”God is the only way” ”You have turned your back on God/Jesus” and stuff like that. Sure, it might help others, but for me it feels like im the villian for having my own opinions and beliefs. And i know you dont mean any harm in anything you say, and im very very glad that you are open to share your thoughts and feelings, but isnt like a big part of christianity to accept and forgive? So for me, saying that people will ”burn in hell” doesnt sound like forgiving. And the thing with that ”God is the only way” is kinda like saying ”Minecraft is the only real game”. And if christianity is about forgiving and accepting, then why did God create the flood? Couldnt he instead try to show them that doing evil is not okay? I mean, i havent read the Bible in years because it always felt like it didnt connect to me, so i dont really know much. But like i said, im not here to offend anyone, im just very curious!

    • @doodlenoggin
      @doodlenoggin Год назад

      @@Hi_Im_Lee Okay lets unpack this! when it comes to right and wrong in the sense of sin, its black and white. there is not middle ground of it "only being this bad" or "this isn't all bad". wrong is wrong, and if you give excuses for it to be right, then you in your heart know that some portion is wrong. its like taking a clean glass of water and only putting a little poison in it. would you still drink it? its only a little wrong. most of it is still good right? a little sin can make a devastating impact. to the opinions: people can have good opinions, people can have bad opinions. in my mind, opinions really don't define a religion. some people take off their shoes before coming into a church, other people always pray before eating, that's just their way of viewing their belief. bottom line though, in Christianity if you repent of your sins, and choose to follow God and not the world, and you know in your heart you are a sinner who needs saving, then that's it. everything else is like a bonus. there are all sorts of branches of Christianity but bottom line, it comes to a choice: will you or will you not choose to follow Jesus? and that's all that's to it. its not people's job to scream "YOU WILL BURN IN HELL" or "YOU ARE DISGUSTING IF YOU AREN'T A CHRISTIAN" literally that is horrible and idk why that's a thing. normal Christians are like what you see in the video above. we are all flawed people created by a heavenly father who cherishes and cares for us. the only thing we have to do is accept the gift and follow Jesus. in the end, God is the only way. no amount of good works, perfection, deeds, or whatever will get you into heaven. the only way, is to repent, look to God, and follow Him. you will stumble and make mistakes, we are human. the beauty is that God sees us as his child and he loves us, guides us, and is always there. the first step is being curious and looking for him.

    • @doodlenoggin
      @doodlenoggin Год назад

      @@Hi_Im_Lee and im sorry if there are people out there that have screamed in your face "REPENT! YOU ARE GOING TO HELL! HOW DARE YOU NOT FOLLOW GOD" that is such a small portion of Christians and it baffles me that they feel entitled to scream that at people. like I cringe when I see people do that bc that's not responding in kindness and well makes this belief look insane. really when you look at the world, its more plausible that this universe was created by a higher creator. like when you look at evolution and such, my question is "why aren't things still evolving?" or when people talk about global warming when there are plausible explanations for that via the flood recorded in the Bible. and just how scarely true the book of Revelation has predicted current times. or like this passage in Matthew where it talks about the end times
      6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
      Nuclear war, wars in the middle east, earthquakes and storms, nations against nations. sounds pretty familiar. to me, God is really the only thing that makes sense to me and the Bible has answered every question I've had. so that's my take.

      To put it simply, you're free to believe what you believe, and think what you think, and do what you do- but here's the catch, **someone** is eventually going to present to you the consequences of those beliefs, doings, and thoughts. That **someone** could be anyone, whoever you think it is. A powerful being, or just anything- literally anything.
      As a Muslim, respecting other people's beliefs in religion is mandatory. And I've also been raised to think that God may do whatever he wishes to, to anyone. God can even defy his own rules if he wants to! You could be the worst person out there, but have only done very little good, and he'll reward you only if he wants to. I've also been raised to think God is very merciful.
      Moral of the story: Nobody- and I mean NOBODY can tell you whether you'll be punished or not, nobody can define your fate.
      **of course, there are some things said in any holy book about things that would get you absolute punishment- but again, God can defy his own rules if he wanted to.
