Buzz doesn't put Kurt on a pedestal. You can tell he hurts due to the passing of his friend. You can tell by his body language and the look in his eyes, that he misses Kurt. Losing a friend to addiction is never easy whether they are alive or dead.
If in doubt, check their live set at Hell Fest w Coady and Jared from Big Business included in the lineup. Or just go see them live, any time. So worth it! \m/
This was one of the best interviews I've seen of Buzz.....watched the whole thing before scrolling down to the comments. Really good questions, and Buzz seems quite relaxed and happy to share
I think it’s the best interview I’ve ever seen. The questions are about the important things, they’re going into the deep with attention, care and respect. Two intelligent and thinking men are talking there. You can take some of it to your own. Thank you, Eric and Buzz!
This here for short: I really appreciate people with an open mind, interest and a kind of curiosity, people which are brave enough to think unthought thoughts, which have ideas, desire to do something, which act after their own conscience and conviction, which are consequent and incorruptible. Because of that I portraied Buzz and Dale. Buzz will join the exhibition of this portrait project with images made by himself. Let’s see, what happens! Let’s get new experiences! I’m sorry about my Englisch!
Half way through and I have to say this is one of the best interviews I’ve seen in a long time. Buzzo is very interesting yo listen to. He would have made a great grade-school teacher. Would have kept the kids interested.
Buzz, you guys are Dodger fans. I grew up in Elysian Valley right below Dodger Stadium. You signed my paints at a Fantomas concert. Thank you for being so down to earth!
Love the honesty about how happy he is in his marriage and how commitment’s important in making it work. Says he and his wife are weirdos who found each other and just made it work.. That’s about as “ role model” as you need if you’re still trying to work out the mysteries of love and marriage/relationships. We should try to strive to be as happy as he and his wife are
awesome interview man, i love buzz osbourne, such an underrated musician and singer, i love his songwriting and i agree with a lot of his views! him and dale crover are incredible!
"Not millions, but enough" fucking brilliant quote, everyone should live by. Do what the fuck you want to do, even if you don't make quote "millions", but waking up and knowing you get to do something you love instead of going to some 9-5 shit job like a robot, is more satisfying then any amount of money.
Very insightful when he talks about how he writes music. Musicians should listen to how he does it. Also, he listened to Beefheart. I figured he must have gotten inspiration from such idiosyncratic caliber similar to Frank Zappa.
Great interview! I've been watching a ton of videos with Buzz after having flashbacks to my years as a youngin discovering cool stuff like he was making in the 90s. Having videos like this available used to be pretty cool to me, but now I'm realizing just how important they are. This is historical! :D Thanks for the hard work you do!
Buzz should do a podcast or something.. I think he would Excel at something like that. I know I would listen I've never even heard The Melvins seriously for some reason I keep getting Buzz Osborne interviews on my RUclips notifications well I need to listen to some Melvin's
I found out a long time ago that Mackie Osborne was the one who created SD's skeleton logo on the Mommy's Little Monster LP, but I never knew she also created the critter on the DI EP. As a punk from Fullerton who was about 14 when those records came out, I say: RAD.
I had a female friend who went to high school with Buzz and Kurt. In 1992 I was walking through a grocery store with her in Utah and she suddenly said, "whoa, that looked like Kurt Cobain". I said, what did, she said, the guy on that magazine. I looked, it was Rolling Stone. I said, that is Kurt Cobain. She said, "what's he doing on the cover of Rolling Stone"? I said, Have you heard of the band Nirvana. She said no. I said, oh, they're the biggest rock band in the world and he's the singer guitarist. She flipped out. So did I. True story.
This is a good interview but I can only imagine that Buzz gets sick of always getting asked questions about Kurt and Nirvana, etc. I know I'd be annoyed. That said it doesn't seem to phase him at all. Melvins rock btw 🤘...42 years old and I've never seen em live. I'm a friggin disgrace
His hair is so badass, it scorched the wood behind him.
Buzz doesn't put Kurt on a pedestal. You can tell he hurts due to the passing of his friend. You can tell by his body language and the look in his eyes, that he misses Kurt. Losing a friend to addiction is never easy whether they are alive or dead.
I misjudged Buzz, the more I hear him talk and play the more I like him.One of the best most genuine interviews from a musician I think I've seen.
What a cool dude, he's genuinely happy and content.
Buzz always gives the best interviews, never afraid to speak his mind. I also like Eric a lot as an interviewer, always let's his guest(s) speak.
recent convert to the melvins and im pretty sure they are one of the best rock bands ever
pubicenemy92 same here

Honestly love this guy. Best wishes Buzz.

Buzz Osborne is a very clever and sensitive human being with a good sense of humor. It's always great to hear him talk.
Great interview. He asks educated questions and stays out of the way.
a charming interview.
great beefheart bump.
seems modestly intelligent.
really good interview "There's enough message bands out there."
Most down to earth dude ever. Not to mention a musical genius
His laughter is fucking awesome.
Buzz and Melvins have put out so much great work over the years.

Cool guy - good interview!
Great interview, I love the way Buzz does not shy away from any question.
Awesome dude. Down to earth.
Only rocker that makes sense. My favorite band.
Buzz, you guys are Dodger fans. I grew up in Elysian Valley right below Dodger Stadium. You signed my paints at a Fantomas concert. Thank you for being so down to earth!
Buzz is such a smart down to earth guy. I think I'd get along with him.
Awesome interview
A cool guy, a wise musician. Great interview!!

King Buzzo ROCKS !! one very cool man
Great questions from the interviewer, and of course, Buzzo such a great guy.
Excellent interview .
This is one of the best Buzz interviews, obviously as time goes on everyone including Buzz have changes of opinion but he had alot of solid answers.
Thats so cool that his wife is from my hometown.
awesome interview man, i love buzz osbourne, such an underrated musician and singer, i love his songwriting and i agree with a lot of his views! him and dale crover are incredible!
An amazing artist, I friggin love the Melvins
Buzz is very inspirational.
Great interview!! Johnny blade is a killer tune!
My favorite guitarist
Always writing amazing riffs

Another excellent interview Mr. Blair.
Man I remember watching this show when it was on chanel 56 in Ca.
Never wanted to hang out with any of the bands I listen to, but Buzz seems like he's a lot of fun.
Real art & this man has devoted his life to it!! The real deal
"I can't remember it because that's the other side of my brain"... wow . That's actually quite thought provoking.
Great interviewer. Actually one of the best I’ve seen. Ask a question, step the fuck back and let them answer. Bravo!!!
Very insightful when he talks about how he writes music. Musicians should listen to how he does it.

This Guy Gave a Great Interview
An incredibly unique guy. Love King Buzzo. Used to think he was a weirdo, but as I got older I realized he was just that far ahead of the curve.
9:55 I love what he says about entertainers political opinions, thank you!!!!
thank you Mr. Buzzo for leading me down a rabbit hole culminating in the viewing of the original commercial for the Great Garloo. you're funny
Melvins are awesome!
Powerless , stupid , what else ? Lol !!! Oh man ... That cracked me up . Buzzo's awesome !
This was actually the part I turned it off.
Good interview
Listen in 11:55 (specially 11:57), and 12:18 part of the video (specially12:23. It's an epileptic-face instant). Best voice noises ever!! :)
great job, eric. and buzz was great, as usual, he has the same honest and unfiltered and sharp demeanor as albini.
Buzz should do a podcast or something.. I think he would Excel at something like that.
I know I would listen I've never even heard The Melvins seriously for some reason I keep getting Buzz Osborne interviews on my RUclips notifications well I need to listen to some Melvin's
How rare Buzz actually answering questions.
Hi Melvins/Buzz Osbourne fans please Subscribe to my show if you like the interview THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT !!!!!Sincerely ERIC BLAIR

Never knew Buzz played with Bozzio, between that and hearing him say he's a fan of Captain Beefheart made my day
The King.
I love how unapologetically traditional he is with certain things!!!

The government should stay outta people's lives--AMEN.

Buzz is such a genius man.
I love the editing when Buzz starts talking about how Kurt could barely get out of bed. I wanna hear it all, fucking censorship! Lol
I love how he describes his wife.
This guy's got the same hair style for 30 years and he never lost a single hair to aging aka balding, fuckin impressive.
It was Mike Patton who said that Buzz Osborne has more music in his little finger than most ppl do in their whole bodies.
BEST FUCKING BUZZ INTERVIEW EVAR!!!
To quote Henry Rollins: “Drugs fucking suck.” They really do. I let them sap away 30 years of my life.
he has a good attitude
buzz-o uber alles.
I've always felt like Melvins lyrics exist more for cadence, for the way the words sound and not as much what they mean.
Love this guy
Buzz lyrics come from his unconscious. Don’t think they’re thought out with rational precision. Primal. Ecstatic. Dionysian.
Awesome dude 😻
Ps, I used to have teeth like Buzz but I got them fixed , thanks
his laugh at 5:25 ... perfect
Love Buzz's Laugh .... Gotta Love the Real !
Buzz remains king
Hey buzz, I dig Nightgoat
It's 2014 and you're still asking him the same questions about people from Nirvana? Otherwise a good interview.

Is this interview at the Observatory in Santa Ana? It sure looks like it.
Eddie Large became Buzz Osbourne !! 😎
This is a good interview but I can only imagine that Buzz gets sick of always getting asked questions about Kurt and Nirvana, etc. I know I'd be annoyed. That said it doesn't seem to phase him at all.
