Erasmus+ project, Youth Exchange: “Nature at Challenge!”

The project entitled ''Nature at Challenge! Air, water and land with obstacles!” was being held in Kalabaka, Meteora, and Trikala, Thessaly, Greece, 02-07/03/2024.
It was an environmental awareness project focusing on the knowledge,
skills and competencies needed in the fight against ecological crisis,
empowerment of the social and civic participation to grapple with dangers
from the destruction of biodiversity, reduction of sustainability and
deterioration of healthy ecosystems. Additionally, it highlighted
technologies that help the environment and how to preserve our planet’s
wellbeing through real-life examples of technology’s beneficial impact on
harmful activities as well as how people can face climate change and
environmental concerns adopting sustainable transportation alternatives,
focusing notably on bicycles and public transportation.
Thus, they created this video to contribute to the initiatives for a
cycling revolution in the European cities by asking for a life in compliance
with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and showcasing a
visionary approach to address pressing global challenges. They highlight
that the integration of bicycles into daily transportation can transform
neighborhoods and modern urban cities into more sustainable and livable
spaces and that the prioritization of cycling as a means can reduce carbon
footprints for cleaner air, foster a healthier lifestyle, the well-being
and the physical activity outcomes, and support a sustainable planet.
