    Available Now: mercury-studio...
In 1970 The Moody Blues were at their creative and commercial peak. After reinventing themselves from their R&B roots to a much more sophisticated sound, between 1967 and 1970 they released five albums, four of which hit the Top 5 in the UK with two of them going to No.1. They enjoyed similar success in the USA where four of the albums hit the Top 20 and the other was just outside. At the end of August 1970, shortly after the release of their album "A Question Of Balance", The Moody Blues took to the stage of the Isle Of Wight Festival in front of an audience estimated at over half a million.

Genius singer song writer his music and lyrics so ahead of his time. His songs are timeless. Mike Pinder blended and wove a tapestry around Justin s guitar playing with his Mellatron and his lyrics that’s was shear genius

PLEEZE.....post the entire concert.....PLEEZE!!! I've loved this band since their first hit single, 'Go Now'. I never get tired of hearing their music. And it's nice to hear them playing the music differently at each live venue. Talk about a soundtrack of our lives...

“Go Now” hooked me too! The Beatles had just hit in America, and I liked them but the Moodys seriously hooked me. I was 12, heard it at a friend’s house, and listened for it on the school bus radio. Our radio at home was on the news, not RnR! Search on RUclips, the whole concert is on here.

I have to admit that Justin was very lovely but I loved their music as well. I saw them at Southampton uni in about 1971. They were brilliant!

Some serious hard thrashing rock goin’ on here! Lodge’s voice perfectly captures the angst and bewilderment of becoming an adult, responsible and barely out of nappies, it often seems. I think the teen years are the most fragile, as we somehow have to navigate leaving toys and carefree play behind and be and adult, often at warp speed. The Moody Blues largely wrote and sang the journey of my youth!

      It's Justin Hayward singing.

@12-stringchords I don't understand. The person who titled the video is not John Lodge nor @Boertje247 and the video titler/poster Mercury Blue did not mention who was singing the lead vocal.

J F man, you are such a hard ass! OK, so the video is totally mislabeled - wrong song, wrong friggin' album for christ's sake. OK, and your point is??? Have you not drunk enough beers/eaten enough blotter? Why are you so caught up in these issues of labeling, anyway? It's the Moody Blues, and it's a cool song, and performance, right? Is that not good enough for you?

“The Sunset” is from DOFP, not OTTOAD. Either way, this song is “Question” from the album A Question Of Balance.

This is all true, and so obvious as to need no explanation, and at the same time it adds no enjoyment to my overall experience of this video.
