FAST!! VIA Rail Trains! Volume 1. F40PH and P42DC

These are Canada's fastest passenger trains reaching a top speed of 100 mph!! These trains were captured around 2010 in the Quebec City - Windsor Corridor. Some of the locations filmed include Beaconsfield, Brighton, Clarkson, Dundas, Ingersoll, Newcastle, Newtonville, Trenton and Vars.
Turn up the volume and enjoy the P42's and non-rebuilt F40 locomotives putting in hard service pulling various consists of LRC, HEP and Renaissance coaches.

They run two trains out of Toronto that are coupled together until they reach Brockville. Then they are separated with one continuing on to Montreal and the other heads North to Ottawa.

Thats a regular operation of VIA trains that run out of Toronto. One is bound for Ottawa and the other is headed for Montreal. At Brockville the trains are split. One continues east and the other branches left (North) towards Smiths Falls and then Ottawa.
