Thank you. I was just about to buy a new door switch, when I came upon your video. The latch catcher (for better words) was loose just a little. We'll see if that little, was enough to cause all the problem.
I'm betting my dishwasher that is a Kenmore is older then that one, I wanna know if it can be fixed if parts are available I live in Alberta Canada I cannot afford a new dishwasher or a big repair bill I'm hoping it's an easy fix that parts are still available even in 2024 so if anyone out there can help me great. My dishwasher turned on no problem then it was off no power at all, still some water in the bottom but it was only on for about 5 minutes not even so the water didn't have time to drain. I've been doing research and most videos are pointing to a fuse inside the dishwasher that is blown or a door switch whatever that is, all I want to know right now is even though my dishwasher is old probably older then the one in this video can it still be fixed? Ty
Sorry to hear that, hope you got it fixed. If you’re not getting power it could be that your circuit board is bad. Circuit boards can get expensive too,
Thank you! I almost threw away this dishwasher. Just saved me a $1K

Throw some loctite on those threads and that should help prevent the screw from backing out.
Great idea, I’ll give it a try next time I have a similar issue, thanks
