The spatula work is actually a form of hypnotism, used to make you forget about the price ....

Wow, one of the very few times that I've not seen garlic used.

Thank the gods we didn't have to watch the prawn go through it's death throes!

Chef defied the laws of physics with the rice 🍚. The more he added to it, the less it became.

Is there any more from this chef? I really like his style of cooking.

Who else would be worried their Wagyu beef burning when chef is gone?

Man, if I didn't sucked so much at learning the Japanese language (and if I actually had enough cash) I would go to that country just to eat at one of their restaurants.

QUESTION, why do these chefs always continue to cook the shrimp shell? Its not like its edible; is it some sort of custom? Or for decoration purposes?

Just a question, can they give you a fork if requested? I have nerve damage that will not allow me to hold chopsticks. Thanks.

The only thing i dont like about going to expensive restaurants like this is, the chef spends all the time and effort cooking stuff like the shrimp's crusty head/brain/eyes/legs, and i'd just be like "na i dont wanna eat that part", then i'd feel dumb for having spent so much money on something i dont eat.
