Hi Peter, Great video, I bought all the gear and successfully completed my first oil and filter change, , just a tip for viewers I found out the hard way, if Holden did your last service, chances are they did the nut and filter housing up way more than required and you may need a breaker bar as I did to get the sump plug nut loose, also if you don't own a really beefy socket set, as I didn't, then you wont budge the filter housing with an adjustable wrench, you saved me hundreds vs Holden service, thanks heaps mate!
Thanks for the step by step oil and filter change on cruze turbo diesel....really appreciate it...it will save me plenty of money..for someone like me i need everything explained and u did that well
Hi i have a question when u do a oil change on the chevy cruze diesel do you have the same amount of oil 5.4 liters on the oil pan or do you notice that u have more oil ?
Hi Rob. The JG Holden Cruze used a VM Motori RA420 2.0 turbo diesel engine. the engine in the JH Cruze, which I have, is a GM unit = not the same engine. Can't really help you there sorry.

I have not noticed any extra fluid level when emptying the sump due to diesel in the oil from DPF burn etc.
Thank you Peter . Is yellow filter longer than the white one? Where you can buy the yellow filter?
both filters are the same size. both filters can be bought from online stores like Sparesbox - ones is a Ryco, the other is a Wesfil.
Hi Peter can you do a location for the glow plugs in a video i have a 2010 diesel cruze JG

@@numbnutsAU yeah there were two different types. Ha sometimes i wonder why the design couldn't be a little more user friendly for the glow plugs.
Hey Peter, Do you have a link for the sump plug washer...So many on ebay...Cheers
