Hello! I also tested this class on a round trip to Seoul in February and I have mixed feelings. The experience highly depends on the attitude of the crew. On the outbound flight, the purser introduced themselves to each passenger in Business class, but on the return flight, I was forgotten twice for service. I'm not picky, I'm French :D I will soon be testing Premium Economy.
Possibly you were just unlucky. I’ve been using A.F. Business class on my usual long haul for around 3 years now and have always found the crew very good and in some flights exceptional.

All of the shoots are hand held😉 I have active stabilization always on and some shoots are filmed in 60fps for the slow motion effect. I also put extra stabilization in post as well for the extra “smoothness”😄
Air France used to be my favourite I had used them for many years ...since Covid the Airline has slipped , sure a couple of the newer planes a much better but they do not give a mattress topper for business class , & it's very uncomfortable where the crack in the folded down seat is in the middle of your back.. the older planes are never cleaned very well ..as well as the toilets are not cleaned on a regular basis throughout the flight , the food used to be the best , now it's nuked and dry ..the Michelin chefs who have their name on the menu should lose their ratings for the before par main meals , the service with ground staff is probably the worst I have ever experienced, most of Air France staff have the attitude that they are too good for the job and couldn't care less . I switched and will not use them unless their service and hygiene issues are improved vastly... if you travel with Qatar, Emirates, Singapore or Etihad long haul they are now all far superior in service , comfort and cleaniness.

We flew AF LAX to CDG last month and it was horrid both ways. Crew was good. Food was the worst I have ever had in a business class. Seat was bad. It was the old configuration. Snack galley was horrid. Don’t fly Air France.
What nonsense: blacklist the airline on the basis of one trip - “It was the old configuration.” Most aircraft have the new configuration. Maybe the catering was off. Go and watch some of the 100s of reviews on RUclips that rave about the catering. No airline is perfect. Certainly most of your US airlines are more of a Soviet era experience.

I won't fly AF given your bad experience of having to sit for 10.5 hours in those horrid "old configuration" seats which are basically the same seat as the new config minus the upgraded IFE and fancier seat controls. Same goes for catering. If you say it was horrid both ways then i'll definitely ignore my 100+ flights with AF with decent to great catering and, as said before, never fly with them again...

Sounds like the service can be inconsistent🤔 There is a lot of interesting PE products, maybe I should try to review them as well

I don’t think Air France has retrofitted all the 777. One way to check out to do a dummy booking at AF. Good luck✈️
