Very insightful video - good work. I've flown the 1-2-1 configuration on KLM's 787-10, but will be flying back from Seoul very soon on the latest seat (one in your video). Flying to Seoul with the old 2-2-2 configuration seat, so will be cool to compare all three seat / configuration types KLM offers in business class.
The KLM lounge (52) is amazing. If you fly KLM, you can reserve the lounge even if you have not booked business for €45. Worth it, with the Schiphol shop prices
KLM, das war einmal. Was gold member for years until I encountered the so-called Customer Care. Better call them Customer Scare. At least, they scared me away...

So I'm a single guy from the Netherlands wanting to travel business class KLM, but I don't have any loyalty things saved up. I know you can buy those and other such tricks. What's the best way to book long-haul business class trips? I'm thinking Amsterdam to New Zealand and the likes :)
We don’t have loyalty or CC points either but managed to get a good business class fare from Scotland to Thailand for next year. KLM out/AF back. I booked as far ahead as possibly could and tracked prices as they went live. I picked days were the flight prices were the lowest. So if you can be flexible that helps. KLM also have limited light fares that are worth checking out. Doesn’t include lounge access or ‘free’ seat reservations and only one checked bag but I worked out that a bit cheaper to pay/buy the seat reservations and lounge access as an add on or before travelling and we only need one case each. Not sure about New Zealand or if they even fly their direct so might be worth looking at South East Asia destinations instead.
Yes, you can transfer Marriott point to airlines. But it's not a good conversion rate. Usually 3:1. Check out more here: www.marriott.com/loyalty/redeem/travel/points-to-miles.mi
I am KLM Flying Blue Gold member for years now, but the level of service and quality of Catering is going down and down. I havn't flew the brand new Business Class in the 777, but I really liked the old 2-2-2 configuration. Your menu is the same menu KLM offers for months now! The beef and the delicacies are on their menu for a long time, I had them both several times and in my personal opinion it is just disgusting, in taste and presentation. Where you happy with the job of the flight attendants?
This was my first time trying their business product. If the food is the same is not optimal, should change it regularly. The presentation, I agree, aren’t the best, but the taste was really good for me. The flight attendants were amazing on this flight. They were chatty and very service minded, 10/10😄
@@AwardViking Sounds good and I am really happy for you that you had so much luck with the crew. They are mostly friendly, well, in a dutch way, but unfortunatly mostly not towards Germans. Had some really unpleasant flights with them to Cape Town, Johannesburg and Nairobi recently and they made us really feel bad, especially on our flight to Nairobi last year and Cape Town in January. I really don't know why they are so unfriendly towards us, but they definatly must have a negative attitude towards towards Germans. 😔
Great video! Appreciate the effort you put into the review!
Thank you! ☺️🙏

Takk 🤗
With SAS soon as part of the AFKLM group, hopefully, the Dutch and French Caribbean will attract more tourists from Scandinavia.
You should blur fellow passengers but apart from that, clear and nice video
Dutch mountain😂😂😂
Never saw them😂😂😂

😂😅 luckily I didn’t have to interact with customer care
Jaren tevreden en omdat het op één vlak een keer niet goed gaat, in uw ogen, is de liefde over. Echt anno 21e eeuw.

... mmm 🤔... I had thougt that QANTAS (Australia) is the oldest continuously operating airline in the world❓ Not KLM (02:25).
Qantas was founded in 1920 and KLM 1919. So it’s really close
Hva er dine triks til å få slike reiser?
Det handler om å bruke kredittkort mest mulig (legge ut for venner og familie). I tillegg til å samle trumfpoeng, shoppe med viatrumf på nettet.
hi i have 135000 marriot points can i trade for any airline miles??
