I have a Bronco Raptor and had the EXACT same problem. I took it in and had it back next day. There was a short in the wiring harness underneath the vehicle. If you need more info, I can pull the Service Ticket and send you a pic or copy.

People like to compare the bronco to a jeep but it's not what they designed it for. Their template was actually the Defender, not the jeep. It has a few jeep like features but it's closer to the defender. That's why it loves open ground and the suspension struggles in rock crawling. It can do it, it just isn't the bread and butter. It's better in open plains really really fast. The price should show you what it's competitor is. I drove the defender for a weekend and hated it. I drove my bronco for 10min and knew it was right. I paid 81k for an outer banks with every option and a few added at the dealer. I towed a lifted xj my first outing. It broke on a trail and I had to tow it 15 miles through a swamp.

your buddy needs one of those donut hole devices to double the power of the wench, offset winch snatch ring its called by some companies that make em. those are really useful especially if there are plenty of trees to connect to. nice video, very pretty place, love the footage.
From my understanding of the modes, baja mode is more for high speed open desert, mud mode would probably have been the mode to use on that particular trail.
but that still does not explain any of the problems, good thing its under warranty, so it will be fixed up and you will be back out there on the trails.

It is the explorer 3.0 from the ST. They had a ton of issues in the ST. The 3.0 is really very fragile, it was a dumb move. During testing they tried the 3.5 and it was slower because it's heavier. They should have done a snorkel, the dual mode exhaust and took 15k off the price. I have a friend who bought a wrecked raptor that had a blown engine (theft) he swapped in a coyote from a mustang. It runs really well. I know he had computer issues at first but had another guy who was an engineer for Delphi do the computer work. It runs really well now.

OK, not to sound like that guy, but lets take a turbo base truck off road without knowing how to disable certain nannys and features on the vehicle. Now honestly I doubt that caused the issue you are having with the cylinder code, it honestly sounds as if something was not seated correctly. Also, I guess you skipped right over that whole break-in period. Well your under warranty. Shit happens.
