    I am very excited for you! The weight looks extremely good on you! I’m a very thin person naturally as well and I’m currently on a weight gain journey. I’ve been having chronic telogen effluvium ever since I’ve weaned my baby about 2 years ago. During the breastfeeding timeframe, I was always so stressed because I had to make sure I eat enough for the baby. So when I stopped I was relieved that I didn’t have to keep track of my food intake anymore and ever since then I have been under-eating. I just recently realized this. No doctor ever asked me about my diet! They just gave me a bunch of vitamin pills that never worked!😐
    Now I’m eating a healthy amount of food everyday and the shedding has slowed down tremendously! It is sooo important that we eat enough, it will heal you! So glad it has worked out for you 😊

      I also suffered TE at the start of the year due to extreme sickness and lost about 70% of my hair. 2020 has not been easy for us that is for sure! Thank you for your beautiful comments. It's just awful that doctors still are not asking us the right questions and getting to the bottom of what is really going on in our bodies. They just readily prescribe medicine without fully gaining a proper understanding of what is really going on in our system! I am glad you hair shedding has slowed down and I wish you all the best on this journey!

    So excited for you and danced with you 💃🏻🙌🏼 I know that feeling!!!🫶🏼 I am on the journey now to getting my period back, been almost 5 years in this journey I really feel like I’m close to root healing, recently discovered HA and how I really feel like gaining weight is going to help me, ( and of course all the other things involved too😉 ) I’m so excited.
    Yes it takes effort and time. And I’ve come so far!!
    To anyone else struggling with HA or any hormone struggles my heart goes out to you❤️❤️ I know how hard it is you just want to have a cycle like your body should. Keep pushing, and if you haven’t heard it lately I’m proud of you girl!!

    On another note, thanks for doing these vids! Haven't had a period for about a year (I was only on low cals for like 4 mos. before I lost it ): and I've been binge-watching loots of HA vids 'cause I need the encouragement right now lol.

      @@leensakarna342 it wasn’t the easiest thing but to put it simply, I had to eat a lot more. I had a routine of high intensity and Pilates/strength but I did it for so long without giving my body any real rest time. I thought I was eating enough (like 1300-1400 but I never actually ate right to make up for my exercise, like I wouldn’t eat anything before hand or after which put my body under A LOT of stress) u can tell (for some) when it’s getting bad because your nails get really fragile and break easily and for me that was the case along with constant shivering (my body literally wasn’t producing enough energy to heat itself) the best advice I can give you is to eat, relax and do not stress. I know it’s a bit to ask but if you really want your period back that’s the best advice I can give from my experience. Basically your body needs you to gain weight (it could be any amount, for me it was only like 6kg and I still worked out in that time but it was only for about 10 minutes and like once a week, I didn’t do any cardio or anything to stress out my body and had to get my blood done) my hormones were at 0 and 100, if your having the same trouble with your period or HA, u may never feel hungry or know when your full because your cortisol (produced from stress) is masking your other hormones (this is what an endocrinologist explained to me) but trust me, eating and relaxing is gonna bring your period back. Maybe not in the first days or weeks, for me it took a few months (5-6 I’m pretty sure) but it’s so worth it, just keep in mind everyone’s “recommended” weight by any online calculators or based on height and age are 90% of the time incorrect and do not take into consideration heritage and your own personal genetics. Your healthy weight (and the weight you need to get a period) may not be the same as another girl, which is completely fine. Everyone’s different and beautiful in their own way! I hope you get yours back and good luck!

    • @bubOwl3
      @bubOwl3 3 года назад +1

      @@leensakarna342 I think in this time it’s important to not construct yourself, it’s a great time to reintroduce foods you were too scared or feared beforehand, the recommended to eat is 2300-2500 which sounds insane (I too felt extremely sick eating that much but it’s not forever), eating that much can be done without needing to turn to less healthy foods, of course everyone deserves a treat or two now and again, so don’t feel like you need to not treat yourself, just make sure your getting in all your important food groups like veggies and fruits and whole grains as well as a decent serving of protein and good fats. If you feel like a burger than you should have one and if you feel like something healthier than go for it! My advice in this case is to make sure your eating enough and it’s food that’s good for you, your mind and your body. Even if it’s a balance of healthy whole foods and your favourite foods, listening to your body and being patient while it recovers is very important. Merry Christmas as well!
