Not just Indian, even Chinese wedding have the same problem. Usually there are delay because some of the guests (which are rich, or very old), they're late. So bride and groom didn't dare to make them angry. Actually I dislike this attitude.

Keep in mind, being good enough (physically) in the eyes of media and being healthy are two very separate things. You can still be healthy even if you're plus size and not overweight.
