This video is your channel at its best. Compiling and distilling hours of content for us. Letting the pros do most of the talking. Staying amusing and informative. Good stuff. Thank you. - now if you could only outgrow the click bait titles already.
This is youtube. If you want your videos to be watched there are basic rules you "have" to follow. Mr. Beast has millions of subscribers and still uses "click bait" titles so at what point does one outgrow them?
i agree
Ezra couldn't be more wrong. I don't want to see -13 every round bc it's just throw far and putt. Ive watched considerably less disc golf bc of boring problems
And I’m the opposite of you. Man it’s like different people like different things!
Yah I’m over Ezra’s complaints lately and I love theRUclips stuff with goose
Would love to hear goose in the booth more often. Every take he has is so well thought out and I love his thought process behind hole breakdowns
Just came here to say it’s pretty lame the dudes on the broadcast are making jabs about what their fans want to see in the sport ON the broadcast.
FKN WOW!!!! Are there really people on here making fun of Ezra Aderholds speech? Grade school mentality!!
There will always be bullies and people who are making fun of disabilities, weaknesses etc. Very unfortunate, but a fact.
Man Ezra complains about every course. Bomber or technical.

Bicep boy needs to learn how to play better
Exactly
Everything he said in that interview was pretty terrible to me
You going to show him how? I’m sure you are far better than him. If you ever see him you should call him bicep boy to his face, and offer him some lessons! GTFOOH
lol Ezra Adertool
@@Daniel-lr4tr he seems like he has no idea, what most of us want. I don't wanna see 500ft par 3 after 500ft par 3. I love the technical aspect of gmc. If you you can only throw far, that's not enough.
Edit: he also seems to be the only one hating on these courses
Top 15 player lol
I love that Gannon says a 300ft straight shot is hard. Thats my strength 😂
Lmao for fucks sake I’m tired of hearing pros complain about courses being too hard. Not just this tournament but the past few tournaments that has been the complaints. Especially about OB. Yo just play better. You’re a pro.
When the courses become too hard, luck becomes the biggest factor. The cream doesn't always rise to the top.
I agreed with everything you said besides ob some of the ob has been so
Fucking bad the designers should’ve got fired and why is the pro tour the biggest stage using shit we feed to horses and cows get the fucking hay bails off the course
@@mitchellstocker8637 If you look at top 3 players in each tournament this season. Pretty much the same people up there and the more rounds they play the more cream rise to the top. There is very little variation even in top 10.
OB is rarely about luck. Some wooded holes with so much trees that even pros are saying that they aim at something and hope for the best after that have higher luck factor. With a lot of OB, they can choose to play safe and throw putters or midranges but without aggressive play, you don't win.
Look at any tournament this year and top 3 has thrown -10 per round in most tournaments so courses have not been too difficult.
Putting baskets on steep hills might bring luck factor, but if it is steep enough, then it is not bad luck if dics rolls. It is most likely to happen and it is luck if the disc doesn't roll. Or you can lay up or putt in to avoid roll aways.
@@kimmomatikainen1843 Yeah. Maybe they're getting close to the sweet spot in course design.
@@kimmomatikainen1843 John Houck wrote a pretty cool article about design if you feel like looking it up. Agreed, there has to be a line to the pin the hot pros can hit that others can't.
I like the format of interview and commentary
Lmao these big arm babies. Wahhh I can't throw a distance driver giving me a leg up on the entire field. Wahhhh.
Distance is a skill. You're a sad person.
Why is this comment section so aggressive. Ezra didn't even say anything horrible. He just shared his opinion (which i disagree with) and there's nothing bad about that
His opinion is that disc golf should be a distance contest. He's wrong.
@@trev3971 he said he prefers distance courses. Not that every course should be like that
Haven't you notice how aggressive lot of people are over small things? Celebrities get life treaths, common usage of the world hate etc. People hate a lot of things. I am past 50 and I have hated only handful of things in my life. Dislikes etc. yes, but hate..
Ezra did put down and showed some disrespect towards many players by saying he is better than half of the ahead of him in points. That wasn't a very nice thing to say. He also said that his skill level is much higher. Wooded courses require a lot of skills, but he doesn't play well in the woods. To me that says his skill level overall is not there. He can throw far.
I think putting players ahead of him down is what bothers people the most.
But I agree that he didn't say anything that should be hated or cause any aggressive feelings.
@@kimmomatikainen1843 he's an athlete tho, he's supposed to be confident in his abilities
@@QalebGoz Obviously, confidence is good. But Ezra hasn't won anything in four years, and has never won above an A-tier. It just comes off as sour grapes that he thinks he's top 15 but only if we can play a bomber course.
This is my favorite tournament to watch along with maple hill and champions cup. Woods golf is supreme. Hate what we get from most of the rest of the US tour
why is ezra complaining so much when he can just choose not to play? if he wants a more bomber course he should go find one .
right, go play an A Tier and maybe get a W rather than complain lmao
Interesting to see the difference in mentality between a veteran and a newer distance thrower in Simon and Ezra. Simon knows he has the advantage if he gets to bomb 600ft shots, but still prefers the midrange in the woods that is a skillset a lot of the newer players haven't really needed to develop that much.
Love the channel, small critique, I'm 5 minutes in and most of what I've seen was already on your last video. Feel like I just wasted 5 mins re-watching the same thing. Thank you for you hard work though, and keep it up.
I'm not currently worried about where I position.- Kristin mid-sente.
Don't agree with Ezra about what fans want to see. I love the shaped shots in the woods and then I'll enjoy seeing the longer drives on the Fox course. Smuggler's is as close to perfection as you can get for a two-course tournament. They're forecasting very little wind for all four days as well, so that should allow players to go for even more distance on Fox. Wish I was there to watch. It's my favorite spot in the U.S.
I would much rather watch a slow drifting backhand mid thrown through the woods any day over an overstable driver blasted on hyzer sorry biceps boy lol
These videos are getting so good, Design is king. Competition is between the players and the course.
Got to play Brewster this summer and It is definitely a top course. Some of the holes were very memorable and fun lines
Esra is wrong I would rather have woods. But its a hard to film
People like different things. Lot of people want to see more open courses and long throws. They use the term "we" too. I have never understood who these we are when people like different things.
I prefer woods, but even better if there is mixed woods and more open. I also like roller holes. Long distance, rollers, overhands, shot shaping etc. are all skills and I want courses where players need different skills to play well.
wow. last week everyone was complaining about 900' par 4s, Now (looking at you big germ) they're complaining about sub 600' par 4s. a whiner is gonna whine
This!
Jerm wasn’t complaining, if you watch the practice round he wants this, because it’s a lost skill.
@@micah7664 I think he has read comments and changed the tune a bit. He has complaint and whined about it for two years in most videos. What he has never had is really long distance. He has gained more distance in couple of years, but doesn't match with AB, Eagle etc. It is natural that game evolves and everyone comes to a situation when they can't keep up anymore. It can't be avoided.
He has complaint about long holes and par numbers constantly
In last video he was much more subtle and admitted that he doesn't have what it takes to do well in long courses.
Almost all of this feedback was good. Often, though, pros complain about every course
Ezra's complaints are so dumb. "Handicaps me" because it requires accuracy!? Lolol wtf. Also, Fox is 9300' and there are several holes where you can use a big arm to get aggressive. Quit whining, bro.
Good video! Keep doing this type of content
Jeff is right.
Distance is cool here and there, but open field golf is boring. It's not an exciting shot when someone parks a 650 foot drive. its practically luck that everything went perfect for that to happen.
Looks cool on camera. Does nothing for actual promotion of competition and golf as a whole.
Eagle always looks like he's farming with that face smile he does
I like Ezra but he is so far off with that take. In my experience most fans love watching wooded golf and it’s what makes disc golf unique really. Theres something so cool about seeing someone hit a perfect line through the woods.
I like Ezra but I think his take is wrong. I want to see these guys throw technical shot shapes proving they have it all vs just distance.
I'm convinced that half these pros will never be happy. It's too technical or it's too open. It's too short... It's too long. How about stop complaining that a course isn't designed for you It's designed for the game and fucking play?
I like watching both styles, woods and bombers, because I suck. As for the pros, hey, there is all kinds of talent out there, get versatile or join the rest of us lumberjacks, bushwackers and safari goers in the rough( with respect).
good content. don't need the clickbait title to get us to watch.
Aderholds take might be his opinion but most people don't see it like that...
Who cares I hate the rankings
Just have fun!
Great job. Good video
couldnt disagree with Ezra more. I dont want to see dudes rip discs 600 ft. on big open fields with no accuracy. I want to see accuracy and skill reign supreme. it causes more drama, especially in the final stretch when the scores arent separated by much. makes for fun viewing. I think he is just mad because hes not a well-rounded pro. he can throw far and thats about it. Thats not a stab at him, it just is. people like mcbeast, issac, and gannon win because they sacrifice some of the distance for accuracy, and skill on the putting green.
Someone needs to explain the genesis of the McBeth ad, PLEASE!
I think is was for a Worlds tournament or USDGC? He sunk a HUGE putt to get back into the mix. I'm not certain about that though. Hopefully someone else with a better memory can reply.
I believe it was for worlds in 2022. I think he hit a huge put to gain a stroke back on hole 17.
I remember the hole and its importance but I’m wondering why it plays in every one of his videos.
The MPO is basically playing an FPO layout. Gannon hit so many trees today and had one bogey. Let me come and set up a pro lay out, trust me hitting trees will not allow you to get a no sweat par.
Funny
Something about Eagle, he's got that politician's grimeiness to him. Like he's trying to hard to be squeaky clean and positive all the time.
I mean that’s eagle watch the practice rounds, dude is so happy to be on the course his career almost ended
Flapjacks?
Simon did retract what he said they ruined the best hole. You just added that to the title and thumbnail for clickbait. Also, I noticed that your videos try to skew things out of context for content and views which I don't like.
What even is this video?
Why is steroid boy complaining about this course? It’s not like he can win on a bomber course either.
Only Gannon can complain?
@@steveptasznik6147you missed my point. He plays ball golf courses where he throws Nukes all over the place and displays his strength and still doesn’t win…so it doesn’t matter if the course is long or short, he still can’t win.
@@YashaKoman
I think I got your point twice now. Only Gannon can complain about courses.
Didn't know he was on roids, when was that confirmed? And perhaps not, but I'd assume most of his top 10 finishes have been on longer courses. Don't have to be a top 10 player to be able to critique a course.
He learned a lot from his douchey ultimate bud
Just a widdle bit embawassing
Fudd unlocked
I get your point but no point going after whatever his speech problem is
There's no pro-tour for being a dickhead. Not sure what your aiming for here.
@@todward3295 ezwa wules
These 'pros' should try a real job 😅
I mean if you get better you could make a living at it
Idk why i just never want ezra aderhold to succeed
Ezra top 15? Lmao no
He could be. He has all the skills, just not the week-to-week consistency. If you or I knew how to get said consistency, we wouldn't be on RUclips unless we were getting paid.
@@seymourglass26 he doesn't have the skills he even said it, he cant hit lines, he can't navigate the woods. He likes throwing nukes because it requires less skill and thats really all he can throw consistently
@@rudyjakobs1317 Ricky was easily top 5, even when he was a sprinkler, because he had incredible scramble and putting. There are lots of ways to do it, mate. That said, it's silly for joes sitting on our computer chairs to pretend we know half of what he does about the game.
@@seymourglass26 did i mention ricky? No. I know what i see and what i see is ezra is a b tier "pro" At best. He can not compete on 80% of the courses on tour. Stats don't lie
@@rudyjakobs1317 And you're a C-tier RUclips commentator who can't put together a sentence or an argument or understand an analogy. Congrats.
Boo Ezra. And your ego.
Simon's got a lot of nerve talking about shot shaping being a lost skill. 5-10 years ago he was known for breaking course designs with "simon lines"--typically just a gigantic hyzer than nobody else could throw back then.
That’s exactly his point lmao, poor course design wasn’t his fault
Was he not shaping shots enough for you? You've got way more nerve thinking you know 1/10th what Simon knows about the game.
