Great video. I'm really moving back towards the Shearwater. I've been watching videos of the Ascend 133X lately, but the recent videos I've seen of how poorly it handles in choppy water is making me think that the Shearwater is the better kayak.
Love the review of the perch, because everything I've seen with the Ascend means you have to physically engineer, manufacture and outfit it yourself which takes forever, and I don't have a lot of room at my house to work with. The Shearwater seems to be the better kayak by far.
Hopefully I can order one by next year, once I get the transportation of it figured out. Good luck....Thanks for showing the need for using a pole to get around in shallow water while standing on the perch too.

Got the sea ghost 130 besides not being able to stand and fish it is a sweet kayak got it used for 600 with a pole anchor and mount already on I’ve been doing real well down in flamingo and chokolosokee

Great catches man. So this website called yak hobby created these stronger clips to hold in the pod because people as myself had problems with the pod popping out. And in those clips comes engraved a hole to put a bungee that’ll hold on to the drive so it can sit flush like you’re saying. 👍🏼

Flip the drive backwards.
