omg the Submit button!... I've lost portions of my cargo due to not using cargo grid for everything, something glitched into oblivion... No more ruined reputation, yaaaay, thank you!
One of the ways I find to filter is using the name tags. Solar, direct, local, planetary, rank, interstellar, size. All have definitive boundaries for container size, over all quantity, range traveled, number of pickups and delivery locations and such. For now, its workable. A filter on those tags should be doable at least. Delivery location or pickup location should also be easy to add. Hope CIG can get those in by the IAE event.
CIG seems to troll Raft owners with 98 SCU missions. They need to improve their ‘game’ by better planning ahead or they really are trolling, it’s hard to say. Obviously most of their cargo grid designs aren’t based on pure 4x4 metrics (the C2 is just OP regarding this). So they made everything very complicated for themselves to balance. Just like they did with introducing ships with too many guns. They should plan ahead better imho. The fact that you can leave a few small boxes behind is a godsend. Thanks Foxy for pointing that out. o7
@@skullhqx not to mention giving so many ships cargo grids that rack to 3 SCU high, and then mostly giving 8 or 16 SCU boxes in cargo missions. Sure, Connie's can sort of manage, but others can't.
Exactly what i've been looking for! This video showed me: 1. How much higher ranks of hauling pays, and 2. What those missions entail. It's been so hard for me to find a video that shows hauling at a rank above "junior"!
All the senior-ranked missions can be completed in one ship using either the C2/M2/Caterpillar or the Hull C (if docking ports are available at the stations). Creative loading of a Starfarer/A2/Taurus can complete all but the Hull C missions in three trips from the pickup location. Note that the default container size for senior-ranked missions is 16 SCU (32 SCU for Hull C solar/interstellar), so you might need to verify your ship's cargo grid arrangement before taking on these missions, even if your ship can technically hold more than the required amount of SCU.
Very cool! You just beat me to the rank. I have a tiny bit to go. Finally some better payout for multiple drop points. I do wish the higher paying ranks had more expensive cargo as well, attracting more pirate and raising the risk. Unfortunately, that would likely just have people stealing the cargo instead
Now i know what the "Submit" button is made for. That makes sense. Thanks ! I would have liked more information about the 25, 50 and 75% of completion. You've shown that from 75% to 100% you get the full reward. So i guess 50%-75% gives you 75% of the reward, and you will receive 50% with a 25% to 50% completion. I need to test it. Have a great day :) o7
Thank You for the videos! I'm unable to got to my hangar in Lorville and Everest Harbor so I stopped playing. I was very interested in grinding rep in hauling. So many missions deliver and pick up from Lorville & Everest that I just gave up.
My main route is Serapin - Dunlow (Orison). Im in a Zeus CL and i only accept small contracts. For some reason, that route spams contracts so i get to accept about 10 - 15 ish small contracts paying 9k - 18k per. So every trip i do lands me around 150 - 200k+ I found that per hour i make around 300 - 400k if im effective :)
The ranks after Junior now (as of 12/28.24) are Member, Experienced, Senior, and Master. It might be time to revisit this progression and see how many missions it takes to complete each level.
Thanks for this. Ok, so,..about 100,000 per/hr maybe faster when hull-c works. Without any money down. If you buy your cargo (1.5mil) you can get 200,000per/hr. Maybe better when you get to buy at max inventory
the pay of one senior mission is equal to two entry-level rookie mission. However, the amount of cargo needed to be delivered is 20 times more. Which means higher rank mission actually rewards the player LESS auec per minutes!
I did yesterday 230K with 6 Member ranked stacked missions in my Argo RAFT. Pick all 6 missions from Port Tressler with Sakura Sun Goldenrod in it. One mission pays 50K and the rest 34K or so. I'm pretty sure CIG had this in mind for the Argo RAFT because it always lands on 95 or 96 SCU's.
At 5:48; looks like you had a bit (caught port wing) of a "beer" landing (I'm being kind) or it would have been an "Mezcal" landing? ;-D At 6:33; A "beer: launch, I'd call that.
I have been grinding away at these too............its still way faster to stack and grind multiple experiences than do 1 senior I was bummed that Senior only has Medium and can no longer do them solo routes until i save for an C2 One thing you see more on Senor is the randomization. You can do the same mission but it will be a different pick up sometimes, always the same MIC/HUR/ARC but it may be a different number As well as any contract that has 2 or 3 of the major space stations, they can change around too
I just broke experienced rank earlier not sure if its is just my bad luck but all the missions shown to me at that level have cargo in the thousands of SCU's - I dont fancy that. - have been doing the 42k small cargo member level mission to get to it, only a few boxes for 42k
There is both $ and rep deductions on the 75% completions. I feel like its not just 50/75....i think you can even complete contracts at 90% and get most of the rep and money
What kind of SCU figures are we talking for the upper level of these contracts BEFORE a Hull C is needed? Does a single contract for non-Hull C ship ever go much above 300?
well the way CIG has been going those 100k+ missions will prob go down to like 20k with 20 drop off locations with 100k SCU of cargo to finish it since they only way they know how to balance things is make it as shitty as possible and then in 20 years bump it up to 40k with 15 drop off locations with 50k SCU of cargo
Ever loaded a Caterpillar and then loaded a C2? If you value your time the answer is obvious. The 32 SCU Boxes do not fit into the Caterpillar, that doesn’t help either.
@@WarlockSRB good for you, I feel differently. I was not aware the 32 SCU fit into the cargo grid because of a bug or lack of planning by CIG. Is this fixed now?
Foxy, I have to say that I really don't like you promoting leaving behind the smaller boxes as a great thing to do to save time. If enough people start doing that (and they will) CIG is going to remove that button and you'll have no choice but to fail the mission when you run into bugs, costing you huge amounts of reputation
The little room behind the cargo area on the MAX holds 12SCU. Same with the Taurus, the very rearward room holds some amount of cargo. You can also stack the elevator 4-high (or 2x8SCU crates high)..
You seem optimistic. I’ve been waiting 9 years for a flyable Hull B. Ship modality was promised between 10 and 12 years ago. Soon (tm) is a very long running joke about when star citizen features are promised vs when they actually come out.
Having more than one delivery point is the sole reason it killed cargo profits you can do literally anything els and make more. By a factor of almost 10
I'm loving the hauling mission, but the reputation gained per mission vs reputation abandoned or failed is so damn penalizing. Failing a single mission can drop you several ranks. That, and the boxes aren't labeled so you need to be careful not to mix anything up
I don't think the pay is worth the grind when ships cost millions ingame I like flying so I might as well take some cargo with me but to me this is a mode for fun not for money
To be honest this is exactly what I do, grinding in game is like a second job, it’s that tedious. It’s maybe fun once or twice but it gets old very quickly, So it’s way easier to just buy some auec off eBay. That’s what I do after every wipe. You are putting in the hard work on this cargo release. I appreciate it.

This guy has such a silly tone it's so good for this game. Legit too.
The fact that you can split with friends seems really fun. I'll need to try it.

c2, atls, single commodity, single mission, L1 or L2 to LEO
Congrats on the achievement, but I'm wondering how it's going to work with the going back and forth to Pyro.
