- Aspects in vedic Astrology. Aspect Simply Means looking at something. When we say SUN Aspects the MOON or house where MOON is placed. When a Planet aspects the other House or Planet it Shares/imposes some of its qualities to the House/Planet it is aspecting.

When i say from itself..We have to count the house where in Planet is situated.

SATURN=========Aspects 3rd,7th and 10 house from itself
JUPITER=========Aspects 5th, 7th and 9th house from itself
RAHU=========Aspects 5th, 7th and 9th house from itself

Great video! Explained very clearly. Have a few questions around aspects -
1. Excuse me if this is a very basic question - when we look at aspects, do we consider the rashi of the planets or only planets? Example - Sun in 9th house in Capricorn aspects 3rd house. It shines the 3rd house. But is it with the energy of Capricorn Sun or just Sun as a planet or Sun in Cancer? I think it should be Capricorn Sun and brings in the 9th house energy into the 3rd house to a certain degree but please correct me if I am wrong
2. Is is correct to say the besides the mutual aspects, Rahu and Ketu aspects the 5th and 9th houses from its positions?
3. Not clear on the degree (Sandhi) aspect and how it works but I guess that's advanced stuff

It would be good to know that if Mars is in the lagna of Aries in the Rasi, then Mars only looks at the sign of Libra, or we can also say that the 7th house as well, since Mars may be in the Bhava Chalit, exits the first house and enters the second house. then Mars in Bhavachali aspects the 8th house? In short, Bhava chalit is aspected by the planet or only from the Rasi?... this is a very important question, please explain it and you could also make an instructional video for the benefit of others.

Hare Krishna! Once again, an important question arises in my mind. Parashara did not teach that Rahu and Ketu have aspects. Why do you teach this??????? Which Rishi taught that Rahu and Ketu have aspects? in Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra sage Parashar has clearly explained that every physical planet aspects its 7th house and outer planets ie; Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars have special aspects. Well, where he has mentioned the aspects of Rahu and Ketu. I don't think sage Parashar would forget about such an important part.

We know that Rahu bhava shows the matters we will be eager to have. Still Ketu aspects will make us uninterested in the matters of the bhava that is aspected. So, on the one hand we will be eager to have things of the bhava, on the other hand - uninterested? Could you please be so kind to explain how this actually works?

I have noticed that the planets aspecting the houses in D-1chart often gets shifted to one of the same houses in D-9 chart. I don't know if my observation is true or not but I have seen this.

How prominent would be the results if a planet is aspecting an empty house with its 7th aspect? Also, what would be the results if rahu and jupiter aspects venus with their 9 and 5 aspects respectively as one is malefic and other is the most benefic planet! Its also said that when jupiter aspects venus it is a dhan yoga!

what happens to the aspects from a benefic in a debilitated state? for example: Jupiter in Capricorn or Venus in Virgo, would the aspects lead to negative outcomes even if the planets are benefic in nature?

If an empty house planet (or any planet) aspects a house - for ex., Mars (aries) is in 12th house (empty) of a Taurus ascendant chart, you say it aspects 4th, 7th & 8th house from its position. Hence, do we see it aspecting 4th house of Moon (Cancer) of Siblings OR we see Mercury (Gemini) of Money, Family? And this empty house (Mars in 12th) - how does it affect?

For me Mars in 10th house in capricron sign Aspecteing 1st house
And Saturn is sitting in 1st house in the sign of Aries and aspecteing Mars from the 10th aspect

We don't take rahu ketu aspects in astrology
How come different Jyotish Astrologer claim different things about aspects?! Some say Rahu & Ketu don't aspect anything at all but the house/planet they are sitting in/with. Other claim Rahu & Ketu aspect the 2nd, 5th, 7th & 9th house from itself. Some claim Rahu has the same aspects as Saturn and and Ketu the same ones as Mars. Some claim that additionally to that all planets have further minor aspects to the 3rd, 5th, 8th, 9th and 10th house (if they don't already have a full aspect to it). No wonder some people have a hard time believing in Astrology, it's confusing and not everything can be true at the same time or else it just a guessing game.

in all clasical books they tell if shuba drusti is there cancel this bad.like that they written but they didnot mention about which is shubagraha cliarly. shuba drusti mean (jupiter,venus,mercury natural shuba graha dristi (or )good house ownership graha dristi(1,5,9)for ex:meen lagna ,mars is 2,9 lord so mars is shubagraha for meenlagna right. but by nature he is melfic planet right...which one we need to take..and another confusion is?which dhrusti we need to take jami drusti rashi drusti or grahadrsti like parasara written...which one we need to take
An Malefic can be Good if he rules the good houses or is yogakaraka..Apart from the natural Friendship..This is known as the temporal friendship..so this composite friendship has to be considered while deciding what exactly the planet is doing in there in ur chart
