so ive gone through a bunch of brembo brake "rebuilds" and nobody shows themselves installing the seals and boots. they always skip through it. thank you for the thorough rebuild.
What brake pads are you using? I’ve had these 17Z’s on my Sportcross for about a year now with the OEM Brembo Low-Metalic P85069 pads and they’ve just been SO SO Dusty and quite squeaky. I Autocross about once a month, but the car is still my daily driver. I’m considering the P85069N NAO Ceramic pads or something from EBC, Powerstop, or Porterfield. Any recommendations outside of that? Thanks!
How would I figure out what rebuild kit i need for my 2015 genesis coupe 3.8 ultimate on the rears. My caliper is having issues and I'm wondering if rebuilding it would work
@@TunerwithKids thanks for replying! would refurbished brakes have any less stopping power than brand new brakes? sorry for the newbie question but this is my first time getting a brake kit upgrade

Great video! The level of detail including part numbers) is top notch 👍🏿.
Amazing work bro. Keep up. The caliper idea is amazing.
Wow. Great job they came out so good!!. Inspiration to do that big brake upgrade on my g35.
Nice job!
Bru, I just got me some brembo calipers that came off a track hawk. I need to rebuild them to put on my Chrysler 300. I need to send them to you!😓😂
Great video! What do you think of the T4000?
Not sure what T4000 is.
@@TunerwithKids It's the battery charger from Topdon. Did you check my email? I haven't heard from you for a while.

You can probably find the rebuild kit on Rock Auto.
Hello. How do you remove the old dust cover? It's baked into me. ( 18 LZ , AUDI Q7 )
Pop the pistons out.
How often should calipers be rebuilt?
Depends on condition and any visible leaks.
are refurbished 17z brembo's safe to use? assuming they come from a reputable brake shop. or would getting a brand new brembo GTM 6 pot be better?
No different than normal seal replacement of any caliper. This type of rebuild has been happening since beginning of caliper/rotor brake setups.

@liionelbooon nope it restores old oil seals.
Did you re use your pistons and just buy new seals?
Yes. Pistons were is good condition. Only reason to replace pistons is if they are damaged and won’t seal or overly corroded.
Thank you so much
Wow that junkyard is a rip off xD $140 for calipers 🤣
Them “core” charges that LKQ adds on.
